VC 3.1 300 first bed calibration.
Am I good to go to the next step in calibration or does this need frame tweaking before i add the heater etc?
VC3.1 Enclosed 400
So afaik i have to move the extrusion up at the fron but that didnt rly help so im posting it here.Yes i have watched the video for squaring the vc3.Side note i bought the toro tube and apparently bimetal effect is going crazy as now i dont print abs only petg so i have only the side panels on
start G-code for PAM
I switched PCs and I'm trying to rebuild my Superslicer profile because I forgot to port it from the old PC. Can someone remind me what start Gcode to use when enabling PAM as part of the print sequence?
Bed Mesh taco with some obvious inflection from alignment
Rebuilding a used Rat Rig 300 that the prior owner never quite got to work right. And I'm new to Rat Rigs, which isn't making this easier. These graphs were taken at room temp because I'd like to get a baseline in before I start introducing heat to the alignment.
Looking at the range of 0,0 to 300,0, with the little twists up and down at the end, and then the plate in the 300,300 tilting down, it's obviously I have some squaring to fix. But frankly, it seems like the things I'm trying are not really doing much. Like, I get the discrete feeling the rear Z axis isn't fully aligned, and that's what causing the twist, but I'd like to see if anyone else has any better ideas, as I think there's telltale signs that more knowledgeable people might be able to spot....
Solution:
Is perhaps best fixed with a line of KAPTOn tape
VC3.1 Enclosed 400 Back Corner Peak
Working through commissioning my VC3.1. I'm seeing a peak in the back left corner. Not sure if this range is perfectly okay, or if it's something I should work to bring down. I want to get good results, but not looking to potentially make 'good enough' worse.
Mesh not compensating in back of print volume VCORE3 300
I've recently been trying to maximize the use of my build volume, however I've been running into an issue where the entire rear section of my bed (y 150-300). is lower than the front.
My heightmap seems pretty solid with a deviation of around 0.199. I'm using a Euclid probe and the repeatability is perfectly fine, offsets are set, z offset is set etc...
I've been trying to find any way to correct this but from everything I see it just seems like the mesh compensation isn't working properly. ...
weird dip.
I have a severe rear left dip that is affecting my first layer as well as other weirdness, any suggestions?
VC3.1 500. From Saddle to bow
This is on a Vcore 3.1 500. The mesh was taken after 10 minutes of heat soaking at 100c.
It is a 7x7 mesh.
I have followed this YT vid and I believe my frame is square.

Please help, struggling to get my head around the leveling procedure.
I have watched the video and I am still trying to get my head around it. I know the objective is to get the bed on the same plane as the gantry. Attached is my current mesh, I think this leads me to saying I want to push A down? Or B? I also attached an image from the Y perspective. Thanks in advance for your help.
Extremely terrible mesh, bad tilt
Not sure where to even start, i tried lifting/lowering the front right extrusion but the curve never goes away. Is it bowing in my Y rail ?
bad bed mesh v core 3.0
Hello, I have a problem with my bed mesh on my v core 3.0, how can I correct it?
Seems I have over compensated. How close is good for a 500?
I have an enclosed model. Given my panels, it seems I dont have too much room, thoughts?
tilt even after Z_TILT_ADJUST and a very fine bed mesh
I can't wrap my head around this, it all worked fine before. Not sure what happened to it overnight.
Wonky Mesh.. again!
Hello!
I have spent the weekend rebuilding and squaring up my RatRig with a engineers sqaure, everything was as flush as i could get it. I've just done a 7,7 bed mesh with my PINDA and the bed mesh is super wonky.
I've watched the video from 3DaaWB but I'm at a lost where to start with this one!...
Low spot on the mesh
I have a v core 3.1 enclosed and I've already applied the magnetic pad and metal sheet. I've found only after doing it that it wasn't supposed to be made in this order. However I still managed to get a decent bed mesh after some trial and errors.
I ended up with this mesh, and here's my problem. The blue low spot doesn't move no mater the adjustments I did on the frame. How can I fix this ?...
beacon 1mm drop off after install
Hey everyone, so i had a fairly decent mesh prior to installing a beacon sensor (previous probe was a pinda probe)
Before upgrading, i had a range of ~ .12mm and after it is > than 1mm, and it looks like the left side takes a dive. Any thoughts?
printer: vcore 3.1 300mm w/ enclosure 2.0
...
Solution:
It was due to beacon going to far left over x and scanning the build plate. Adjusting the mesh_min setting solved it
huge cliff on mesh
V-Core 3.1 500 - the low X high Y corner - or back left of the printer falls off ~1/2mm. I tried adding sheets of paper underneath but the edges of the paper created sharp peaks where the paper's edge was. Not sure how to approach this?
Wavy mesh
V-core 3.1 500
i am very confused by the wavy mesh i get, could someone plekase elaborate what is happening? i watched the leveling video a couple of times and already adjusted a lot regarding the classic height at C and low point at D.
I did already unscrew and retighten the lineair rail on the x axis but no succes yet.
I also read through a lot of older posts but couldnt find a solution.
Thanks in advance!...
V-core 300 bed mesh
Hello i'm having a normal configuration of the bed mesh deformation. Mine is similar to the 3rd example shown in this video. https://youtu.be/h7ZTq2dDTkM
I tried to loosen up the 2020 linear rail but it didn't change. What can be done to improve this mesh ? Thanks 😉...
