Reassign Motor to new slot

I think the Octopus Pro 446 I have has an issue with the direction pin on the stepper_x (Motor0) slot. It only moves in one direction. If i Force move it FORCE_MOVE STEPPER=stepper_x DISTANCE=50 VELOCITY=50 It doesn't matter whether i move it + or - distance, it goes the same way. I bought new motors, bought new drivers, and swapped axis, it seems to be a board slot issue. Instead of purchasing a whole new Octopus board can I just reassign it to motor 3 slot? where X1 would normally be. Where do i reassign that variable?

poor surface on ASA and ABS

I’ve tried lowering solid infill thickness, slowing down, heating up, and everything I can think of. I haven’t put it in a dryer yet since the filament was fresh from factory. Otherwise I am a bit stumped.

prints no longer start

I have been playing around with the BTT SFS V2 Filament sensor a bunch and making lots of changes in my printer.cfg Up to this point it seemed to be a weird bug that only happened occasionally while experimenting with the filament sensor gcode insertion: I print and everything is normal from heating the bed to pre-heating the hot end, and meshing. However as soon as the hot end is heating to its final printing temp the print never starts. It just hangs on heating the extruder yet the temps are reading correctly and are at temp. This is now not an occasional bug that restarting fixed but since I upgraded to 48v and 5160 steppers and the resulting changes in the printer.cfg it won’t get past the heating extruder step. Any idea where I need to look to fix the issue? It feels like I broke something with all the printer.cfg changes and has nothing to do with hardware.

"Filament Unloaded" After starting print. New BTT Smart Sensor V2 - Filament Runout

I seem to have the filament runout sensor installed and working correctly. However everytime i start a print now, after the prime blob it reports "filament unloaded" and i have to hit play again. Here is my printer.cfg attached and below:

Y axis Bearing vibration

I have a 500 and am trying to diagnose and resolve the vibration patterns from the bearings on the Y axis. I have squared and verified square a million ways. But when i tighten the belts i can never get my belt tension graph exactly to match and the bearings are vibrating as i pull the gantry back and forth. If i gently push the gantry it will bind a bit as it slides where with more force that isn't noticeable. This is a video of a print that shows the effects. I tried to make a video of the bearing vibration or binding but it really isn't apparent. One note is i did have the bearings fall out when i put the linear rails together and i bought a replacement set of bearings that I added. I am not sure if that changed things. The vibration seems the same no matter whether i pull the gantry back and forth and feel on one side or the other. Both linear rails seem to do it.
