MCU Shutdown (only on idle) VC4
Octopus Pro. It has a power detect feature on J_35 but nothing is plugged in on that. I threw a heat sink on the main chip. The fans don't turn on to cool things unless it is printing. We'll see if that helps. if not maybe i'll set the cooling fans to be on all the time and try that.

PAUSE does not park, only raises Z height

Strange Texture
The black Nozzle in the VC4 kit is a 0.6 Nozzle. It is very easy to forget to change it when setting up the printer. If you do your prints will look like this☝️

I remember the VCore 3.1 did this same thing when I hadn’t set the extruder cfg. To the 1004 Is there the same issue on the VC4?

ok, it worked, however just as i assumed, an hour later it is going back. I was at .237 after the pull and now 1.5 hour later it is back to .500

I am trying this: [stepper_x] #dir_pin: x_dir_pin # Add ! in front of pin name to reverse X stepper direction rotation_distance: 40 # 40 for 20 tooth 2GT pulleys, 32 for 16 tooth 2GT pulleys dir_pin: PC1 step_pin: PG4 enable_pin: PA0 [tmc5160 stepper_x] stealthchop_threshold: 0 interpolate: False cs_pin: PC7 Still can't get X to move but no errors!

I just wish I could find a 500mm smooth pei and use glue. Or even some of these crazy other beds I use on my Bambu. I don’t use the textured bed at all on it

I agree the Beacon is the game changer. I could never get a good first layer before no matter how long I heat soaked.
