VC4 400mm Bed Mesh - Bowed Gantry?
Running my first bed mesh and I think this is within a reasonable range to continue but would love a sanity check and advice on if I have a bowed gantry and should attempt to straighten it or just continue on. Thanks!

Retightened the X gantry rail and now it is slightly worse
Well You've pushed you X upwards too much, basicly you want the first two front points to be flat
So in your case you'd push the x gantry a bit down.
In the middle
THe Y will correct itself mostly, but you are in a good range of 0.16
Appreciate the feedback. I did indeed go the wrong direction. Although looking at the graph now I think I have the X and Y confused in direction. This looks like the hump is actually in the Y axis?
Your X is now officially perfect.
Y can be caused by the bed itself or the sheet, I recommend rotating the Mangetic sheet by 90* degree
TO see if its the sheet or the bed
But again on a 400 riding on 0.16 is great.
Basicly your Y at the middle approx goes down for some reason.
Right so it could just be the sheet / magnet / bed and not much worth chasing it. I did rotate the sheet 180 degrees and the hump stayed in the same place. Not sure why I did not think to go just 90 degrees to see.
Well then basicly its be the bed or the sheet.
You could've easily done this when you applied the magnetic sticker but yet again
0.16 is great.
On that size sub 0.2 is really great.
Also
Drag this to the end as you might think its a massive bump
But it is in reallity again a difference of 0.16mm on the whole bed.
What you could do to mitigate that is you can, but is it worth chasing its up to you really.
You can always add kapton tape and get sub 0.1
Again, not needed that is why the bed mesh is there.
Yeah scale can be a tricky thing! Oh interesting. Add it on top of the magnet below the sheet? I think for now I may leave well enough alone and keep on with commissioning. See how it goes once I start printing. Appreciate your feedback and help!
So yeah on top of the magnet, if you are really ocd, in your case you would add it to the low points, so anywhere but red.
Gotcha, may be worth fiddling with later on but may as well see how it prints first.
This is the least of your worries atm 😛
Print man!
Enjoy your printer.
