variable_adaptive_mesh fault with Bl-Touch
Hello. I want to use the "variable_adaptive_mesh" setting. I have a vcore v3.1 500 encloser printer and it has BL-Touch on it. The accuracy result of my BL-Touch is as follows: "probe accuracy results: maximum 1.860625, minimum 1.787187, range 0.073438, average 1.824437, median 1.825000, standard deviation 0.024391"
I organized all my files. I leave my cfg file below, you can check it out.
When I start printing, after making the adaptive mesh, I get this error when printing starts and I couldn't find the reason for it. Can you help me?
...
Solution:
I was using a BL-Touch clone. I replaced it with micro-probe and my problem was solved.
Changed position BLTouch
Hi all,
I changed the position of my BLTouch, where can I program the new location so that the bedleveling and bedmesh are still the same as before?
Thanks!...
Y home
Hey All. I'm trying to adjust where the toolhead rests when homing the Y-axis.
I thought "variable_safe_home_y: 125" was how i would do that but I tried to put in an absolute number and it didn't seem to take.
I'm sure i have the syntax wrong or something. Can anyone assist?...
Custom-made extruder
Hello everyone
For our custom printer, we want to work with a syringe pump that allows our liquid metal to flow through a custom nozzle. To control this flow, we would like to use the output of the extruder on our motherboard. This output is normally provided to drive a stepper motor. Our Syringe pump works with a different drive so we would like to somehow convert these signals using an Arduino, for example, to something that our syringe can understand. However, this is a fairly complex and perhaps not always accurate process.
Does anyone know if, in addition to the standard outputs on the board (for the stepper motor), there might be additional outputs (e.g. to the TMC2209 board) for reading out the correct printer speed and print command so that we can process it and pass it on to our extruder?...

Z-Axis Crash during homing after tall prints
Not a bug but just something that happens on tall prints that almost fill the build volume.
For example when I print something with a Z-Height of 290mm on my VC 300, the print ends with the bed, or rather the arms, around 10 mm above the Z-couplers. The motors are then disabled.
Next time the printer homes, the bed moves down 15 mm as part of the homing procedure, crashing into the couplers of the leadscrews for the last "5 mm".
The crash sounded very unhealthy. My fix now is to set center kinematic position and manually move the bed up before I home it again.

I installed the RatOS 2.0.2 on my sd card. While booting from the card i get this warning. And the screen shows "No Filesystem could mount root", some dumps and hangs on "secondary_start_kernel". Can any help please?...
PAM Invalid
After a hard reset of the power to my printer, PAM is invalid. I understand that PAM is depreciated and replaced by Adaptive Meshing, but I'm not in a position to upgrade to RatOS 2 at the moment.
Is there a way to get PAM working again until I have time to make upgrades to RatOS 2?...
How do i find out which Username & PW to use if i forgot them?

Good idea, but you've given me another idea.

I loose camera's during printing
I have a 3do nozzle cam and a raspi cam cam on my vcore printer, I seem to loose the feed from both camera's during printing, usually the nozzle cam first but later the rspicam too, only way the feeds return is with a pi reboot.
Anyone any ideas why this is happening ?...
I installed a btt smart filament sensor 2.0 but it gets triggered by the beginning purge of rat os.
Each time I start a print the filament sensor gets triggerd at the beginning purge in the corner and pauses after resuming it just prints normally how can i fix this. Include is the filament runout detection config.
nevermore filter control
I just installed a nevermore filter in my enclosure and would like to start it and stop it with the gcode start and gcode end.
I m using skrat mainboard with RatOs.
My questions is how to do?
What do I have to write in my printer.cfg and in my gcode. Thanks for help....
Pre-heating extruder...
Hi,
For my application I'm using a costum extruder without a thermistor. When I start my print it stops at "Pre-heating extruder..." followed by the error "Heater extruder not heating at expected rate". How can I override this error?
In my printer.cfg I already wrote: ...

Hot end heater pin migration problems.
Hi, i have a problem whit my hot end heater. It is no longer heating, i managed to measure the continuity and the resistance values of both the PT100 and the heating resistance, and they are ok.
I suspect my board mosfet is dead since i get no voltage when i trigger the heater, so i tried to migrate to the second heater HE1 PA3 pin for my stock octopus but i keep getting the error in the picture.
It may be that i get the syntax wrong but i tried the formats on the os site and what i found in the discord but nothing works.
Can anyone help me whit a pin change syntax please. Or an idea what is the problem. Thank you!...
Dxf to G-Code
Hi everyone,
As some of you already now I'm building a Ratrig V-core 3.1 so it can print liquid metal. I've a question that maybe not fully related to RatOs but I have a hard time solving it 😅.
For the first part of the project I want to print in a constant z-plane (2D, one layer). In this way I can print just lines and curves I drew in a dxf file for example (like for a laser cutter). What is the easiest way to convert such a dxf file to a GCode that my printer can understand? This is not possible thru regular slicers (I think)....
LDO ADXL with RatOS v1.1
I have an LDO Input Shaper Toolkit that I want to use with my V-Core.
The kit connects via a header on the raspberry pi.
What config changes do I need to make to use the pi for input shaping? I know with RatOS v2 I can use toolboards, but not sure where to go with v1.1...
Solution:
Should be the same process, i don't remember off the top of my head, but it goes something like:
```
[include config/sensors/rpi-adxl345.cfg]
ratos-configurator showing as invalid
I wanted to update my components but I'm not sure about this one. It shows up as invalid and I don't think it has the right version number either. I think its used for configuring the printer first and uploading the firmware to the mcu? Not sure what to do, whether to reset it or not. I want to update klipper which would need to upload new firmware which is done through this configurator I think last time I did it?
