500mm Bed Mesh & Z-Offset
I’ve ran a few meshes prior to a one hour heat soak and when I’d home and 0 the toolhead the paper test would give me the correct amount of friction.
I just ran my last bed mesh calibrate around an hour of the bed sitting at 100c, however now when I 0 out the toolhead there’s 0 friction.
Is it okay to run like this or should I do the paper test now and manually change my Z-Offset? The upcoming print will be about 30 hours. ...
Creating a bed mesh
feels like a stupid question buy how do I create a bed mesh? I cant open the heightmap tab in mainsail
Watched the video and giving my best but it seems it heavy warped
Im hammering like crazy but nothing is changing
.7 on a 500, mostly in one corner
Been working on this for a while, always seem to have difficulty with this one corner. Yes I've watched the video. I know my printer isn't totally square but doing my best without having to take the whole thing apart 🙂
Bed Mesh Just Keeps Getting Worse
After remounting and straightening everything I can think of, it seems like I'm only making things worse. I started out with a 0.4-ish range, and now I'm looking at over 0.9. What am I doing wrong?
Here's what I currently have, unheated and heated (60°C), respectively....
First scan what to do
Hi i just started with tweaking and configuration of my V-core 300. First scan made on cold bed how can i adjust?
following frame square guide but things seems to be getting worse.
Ive been following the frame squaring guide but things have been getting worse the more i follow it. I havent touched the motor mount sides, only addressing A and B. The rear seems really badly out of square and im tempted just to completely rebuild. Although i did build with a DIN875 the first time and im not sure how i could get the frame any squarer. Corner to corner was within 0.5 of a mm. Should i check for bent extrusions?
Bed dip in the middle along Y axis
Hi,
Can anyone give me a hint of how to sort it ?
Variance 0.45
Thanks!...
inconsistent and unreliable bed mesh need help please
Well I have tried the super pinda, beacon probe, and now a Euclid probe and cannot get this machine to be consistent with the first layer. I have four other machines, three of which are reprap using Euclid, voron tap, and BL touch. They are all consistent no matter the bed plate or material. For any of my experts out there please help as this is extremely frustrating. Please also let me know what you need to see from me to help.
VCORE 3.1 400MM BED MESH - CONFIRMATION OF WHERE TO LIFT
My back corner is fairly high and i have a small dip in the middle front. Could someday kindly confirm the best route to level out. Shall I rectify 'D' or balance out with the other corners. Thanks for your time.
V-Minion bed tilt?
Hello. Not really sure what to make of this. Gantry is level and the frame is square but the bed seems....tilted? Any ideas?
V-Core 500, To Sag or Not To Sag?
Shown are two bed meshes from 2 V-core 500's i am working on work. They both have the same issue. What appears and what has been suggested as "sagging" which @helgekeck says is unlikely, and I believe him. Given these beds were shipped at different times i am not inclined to believe they were both damaged in the same way. I have tensioned belts evenly, redone the rails so that are equal distant and painstakingly made sure the frames are as close to right angles as possible.
I watched through the square frame video again and none of the examples seem to be the same as mine. any pointers from anyone who has seen this? i am happy to give the frames some taps with the mallet but i am not sure which corners. Thanks in advance....
Very tilted v minion
What's the best way to resolve this to be a little more normal on the v minion? ABL is doing a decent job compensating but it's not ideal.
Bed mesh doesnt match up. doesnt compensate right
Having big problems with my mesh. i dont think the mesh looks bad tbh. but my results are horrible
The offset is to high in the lower right corner at the last picture, i adjusted that during the print as u see. everything after that is how it looks like when i print...
Bed mesh not working correctly
Hi. I've been testing my V Core with some small prints and seems it's doing some strange things. My bed mesh heightmap looks like a V, but inspecting my heating bed seems to be flat. This is being reflected in the prints as you can see on the second picture. Seems that the hotend is too close to the bed, but I don't know exactly what should I check here to try to have a flat bed.
Oh Gods of the mesh, hear my prayers!
So first image is aftre a full home plus z-tilt. Run cold. After that, heated bed to 80º for 15 minutes. The result is the second image. The deviation seems consistent. The results, look like crap.
May the Gods of #fix-my-mesh bestow upon me their guiding light....
Just did my first scan, how to adjust?
I wanted to scan my bed before attaching the heater and print sheet, now it's done and it seams like I need to tweak something 🙂
What do I need todo and how much?
(VCore 400)...
Don't be fooled unsquaring your frame...
So after trying to adjust my frame to the bed I had to rise my front right corner insane 4mm up. Which caused stress on the back side of that extrusion and definitely things became not parallel.. although mesh improved from 0.7 to 0.255.
But I didn't like that I had to rise a corner by 4 mm because I knew I assembled it straight and flat..
So I began to tear things apart. And like I thought after remeasuring everything my frame was kinda perfect ( leveled top and all posts straight)...
