What adjustments do I need to make?
500mm, just updated to 2.0.
I've known this has needed adjusting for a while.
What corners and directions do I need to go with this?...
Different mesh on each measurement
Hi guys, I'm getting different mesh on each measurement. I noticed that because the z-offset during each print was different, and looking into the heightmap section I see that the mesh was under the bed. After a few measurements I raised the mesh level...I tightened the screw of the pinda, but nothing changed. Obviously I started measure when a pre-heat. Suggestions?
Is this the best I can get? Or is this a warped bed?
I've got corners B and C fairly close, but I can't do anything about corner D. I see where there is a bit of gantry bowing that I haven't addressed yet, but I've been trying to get the corners right.
Suspected warped bed because of a printhead crash.
I recently crashed the print head crash to the center of the bed, now I'm worrying that I might have accidentally warped it even though the coupler disengaged when the crash happened. .
How likely is the bed warping happen when the bed is 80 deg C hot?...
bend in plate/mesh?
I’m experiencing a “bend” aligned with the x axis, near the back of the bed. I’m guessing this is just part of the measurement, and not actually occurring on the bed plate. Would anybody have any suggestions on things to try to get rid of it?
Bed mesh issue on v-core 500
So I'm having a bit of an issue trying to fix my bed mesh. I temporarily made it a 3x3 mesh to get the gantry square. As you can see in the first picture, I got the right side of the bed fairly close to, but when I start adjusting the left front up, it starts moving the right rear back down. I'm at a bit of a loss on this one and can't quite figure it out. Anyone help me out?
Skewed frame or warped bed?
Just saw my first mesh and see a significant issue. I'm not sure if I should troubleshoot frame issues or bed warp.
What do you think?
VCore 3.1 500mm. OpenFront mod. Stock bed....
500mm v-core 3 (enclosed). Can I do better?
I seem to have the 500 droop in the middle of my bed. Anything I can do to improve here?
This mesh was taken hot....
First Layer problem, always squished on bottom left/ left side
Ok guys, I need your help! I can't use the printer because the first layer doesn't come out well and doesn't stick to the bed in any way.
i'll post you my bed mesh and the result
i can't figure out what is going on...what i've done wrong?
I printed directly on aluminum plate to see if the adhesive magnetic bed was a fact but...same problem like on the magnetic bed.
is my bed plate? my frame? i don't know....
400mm V-Core 3 - Am I being too picky with this mesh?
Probably im being too picky with this, but wanted some opinion from you guys.
1 mesh cold, 1 after heating it.
Let me know what you think and if something can be done to improve it as well....
Abrupt dip in the middle of the plate - Vcore3.1 400
Are these kind of holes in plain middle of the plate very usual? 0.176mm in this one spot seems a bit rough.. Is there anything I can do to improve it?
V-Core 500. X Axis
Here is my height map. I have watched the video and didnt see my specific mesh as an example.
I spent a lot of time making sure the frame was true and square.
As you can see the lines between the three axis points are in the same plane but the rear corners seem to sag. there is nothing loaded on the plate corners so i am guessing it is the beds own weight. is there a remedy for this?
I let the system warm up and then losened the X-Axis and retightened after and the mesh didn't change. I didn't do the same with the Y-Axis but i see that maybe that could help?
I understand i could fill the corners with kapton tape as a last resort but wanted to check in first....
Hints for Improvement
Any ideas on how to improve this?
I am going to adjust the front idler position to fix the high/low front corners but would like advice on:
1. The blue spot on the left - this causes the most pain with getting a decent first layer across large prints...
first layer
Hey, need help, not sure what I`m doing wrong, in it start prin firstlayer nicely ( bottom left) but then it is not nice. thanks for help
Y Axis Bow, how to fix?
I'm getting bowed mesh along the Y axis and i'm not sure how to fix it. Appreciate if someone can guide me
Needing help reducing range
After watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7ZTq2dDTkM
It seems that my issue is mainly with the gantry, which I'll approach again soon.
My main question is around the back corners. In the video he mentions that the front corners will always be on the same plane, because for each of those corners there steppers/rods adjusting them directly. He then mentions something along the lines of adjusting to get the back corners on the same plane. What i'm wondering is, it appears that my back corners are on the same plane. My novice observation is, if the front raised, wouldn't my range/variance in height go down? Am I misunderstanding something here?...
bed mesh spike on vcore v3.1 300mm
Hi
I am going to be doing some large prints on my 300 and need the bed to be as flat as possible to avoid warping ,so I did a 15x15 probe count bed mesh to see how bad it was .
Anyway I know the height maps can seem worse than they actually are and I have a crazy spike in the left front corner and I am wondering what I need to do to sort it or should I just leave as is.
Any help gratefully appreciated thank you....
[Fixed]Sides sagging once enclosure is heated up
So been squaring and i know i am within the 0.2 region. But results could be improved dramatically if i figure out the x axis drop in the first line.
This is a room temperature mesh btw....
Z-tilt not correcting tilt along Y axis
You can see a clear slope trend along Y axis. The front two corners are nearly the same, and the back two corners are nearly the same, but Z-tilt should be making them level, but it is not. There is also gantry bowing but I can't really do much about that
