Problem with z probe - led light works as expected, but the probe doesn't always change state

I've installed the probe which arrived with the ratrig v minion full kit. Sometimes it shows as "open", and sometimes as "triggered" but not necessarily in correlation with the proximity to the pei sheet. I re-crimped the connectors twice but no help there. Important to mention - the led light on the probe does change color as expected....

Setting up adaptive mesh

Saw that i could do an adaptive mesh to avoid probing a whole 500 bed every print but it doesn't work. do i need to set 'variable_calibrate_bed_mesh: False' to True? is this what's causing my printer to ignore the variable_adaptive_mesh: True ? read my prusaslicer Gcode and it is spitting out dimensions...

ratos on prusa mini

hi everyone, I have a nice v-minion and a prusa mini and I'm happy with ratos, I wanted to try to convert the prusa mini to ratos, but between the manual and various forums, I don't understand how installing the firmware on the mini works. reference is made to an SD that the mini doesn't have (I imagine you mean USB), the card even in DFU doesn't allow me to install the firmware. Can anyone help me?

klipper reports startup

Hi there, I have updated my printer and since than, I cannot get past then blue anouncement that the klipper is in startup, try later. Sometimes it says cannot connect to MCU. I have restarted the printer and control board several time. I am running RPI and SKR V1.2, I might have accicentally pressed the reset button on it. Anyone experienced something similar? Any help is appreciated

Please I need help with Phaetus Rapido 2.0 Plus UHF hotend.

have mounted a 500mm RatRig V3.1 with Phaetus Rapido 2.0 Plus UHF hotend and the problem I have is with the thermistor which indicates a temperature of 159 degrees when the machine is just started, but if I put a thermistor from an Artillillery it tells me the temperature correctly if I put a Thermistor of a Qidi machine also rises to 159 degrees. I have followed all the assembly steps and I don't know where I could have the problem I have installed a new Octopus Pulpo V1.1 and it is still the same Thank you for your help and sorry if my language is not very good, I am from Spain...

Error after RatOS update

I have not updated my RatOS for a few months and now it is giving me errors after I update. According to the neopixel, the printer is normal for a few seconds before mcu shuts down.

Beeping sound when turning on Octopus Pro 446 while trying to flash it

So im trying to flash my Octopus Pro446 i only have Power for the board and usb c to pi plugged in. as soon as i trun it on the board starts beeping and nothing happens. i set the stepper jumpers to 48v and 24v and i have not connected anything to the stepper terminal power wise. i use a 32gb sd card.

EBB42 cooling fan has 4 pins but the EBB only has 2 pin slots

Any suggestions? I see two slots for fans on the ebb and both are two pins. I don't see many 4028 axial fans with two pins. Could I somehow convert the l2c slot which is 4 pins?

Who here runs an SSR with a BTT Manta M8P?

I see for the octopus documentary it shows a SSR for the bed but for the manta M8P it doesn't inlude it in the image. Now I am confused if I should wire it in or not.

TMC5160 on all steppers

Hi to all. i installed TMC 5160 in all driver, and i wired in spi mode, 48v. Now i change the printer.cfg in x and y and i copy the same cfg for z0,z1 and z2 but when i write g28 for x o y driver i have this error

PLEASE HELP! I cant seem to flash RatOS onto my board

I cant seem to get a board completed in the RatOS configurator. I have tried three different boards and have different issues. First I tried a manta M8P V2 but the list only has a m8p v1.1 or just m8p. I just regular m8p. I do the boot then flash to activate the flashing via DFU. The FLASH starts but about a minute after it then says waiting on DFU which never changes no mater how long I wait. Above that it says no DFU signal. I then purchased an octopus v1.1 with cbi pi. This required an SD card to load the firmware. I did that and after I retart the board and cb1 ratoOS has a check board button. I click it but nothing happens....

how to slow down probing routine/movement

i like the custom prime blob a lot, as well as adaptive meshing, but the movement in between probing points it just too aggressive to my liking. i dont mind if i takes a minute or two more during this sequence since it will still be insignificant compared to the print time. however, i am unable to disect the various config files and find the relevant parameter. any pointers?

''Failed to set ADXL345 register [0x38] to 0x90: got 0xc8...'' on (almost) all input shaper commands

I get this error whenever I try to use either of the ADXL345 accelerometers connected to my printer [V-Minion] even though the ADXL345 is connected fine. There is a small exception however. When I run ''TEST_RESONANCES AXIS=X'' it works fine but ''TEST_RESONANCES AXIS=Y'' doesn't. Here are the values I have set in printer.cfg; I have been busting my head over this for a while so any help is greatly appreciated 🙂...

Adaptive Bed Mesh with Beacon

Since RatOS dosnt support adaptive bed mesh with Beacon, I am still using PAM. Though it is depreciated, it still works well for me. Now Klipper has native adaptive bed mesh but I cant figure out how to use it with RatOS. Or maybe I am totally confused about how to go about using adaptive meshing with Beacon. I would appreciate if somebody could explain the best way to achieve this with Beacon.

EBB42 pin alias isn't recognized.

Hi, Just installed a EBB42 with the toolhead and klipper doesn't seem to recognize the pin-aliases as stated in the RatOS config. The result being that klipper throws the infamous 'ADC out of range' error because the thermistor isn't recognized. ...

Prime blob with adaptive mesh drags nozzle over areas not probed

When using adaptive mesh the prime blob location is probed. Can I somehow get it to also probe the area that it prints a line over afterwards? Also maybe some points between the blob location and the print start. Sometimes the nozzle drags against the build plate
