VC4 500 IDEX initial cold mesh
Good evening, today I reached the point where I could do my first mesh.
On the first try, I had a 0.600 mm range. After re-tightening the linear rails and pulling the X-axis, I achieved a 0.350 mm range. The X-axis bend is around 0.2 mm.
Afterwards i tried to fix the "hanging" back of the bed, but somehow i can't get under 0.35 mm. If I push the back right corner, the left right corner lifts and the other way round. Because of the vertical extrusion in the mid back, it acts like a rocker. I also tried slightly bending the horizontal extrusion in the back downwards, but no success.

VC4 500 Comissioning mesh
Hey guys, I'm trying to follow the comissioning steps but my mesh looks absolutely horrible.
I've never seen a bow in this direction so I'm not quite sure what to do from here - I've tried getting the frame more square to get the corners up, but that didn't help the bow.
Additionally I've tried to reinstall the x linear rail just in case I fucked that up - but no matter what I do I get this extreme bow. If I hover on one of those points its a difference of 0.288mm.

VC4 400 hybrid bowed along Y axis, trending down in X axis
Howdy folks, got a mesh here that I think is pretty okay but got a pretty large deviation of .337. would love some feedback to see if I can improve it.
This is the second mesh I've done on the machine, no soak or anything yet. Just running through the commissioning process.
Will also add that this is with the build surface on (mag sheet and print plate), no heater pad....
Rear left dip ruining mesh
Any ideas what may be causing this? its a significant error range but mainly due to the rear left dip.

I got the bed mesh to a good place until I heatsoaked the chamber. I never noticed how not flat the bed was because I was printing smaller items. It became obvious when I printed an object that was at the limits of the bed. I have a carbon X gantry. the flatish map is when the bed is cold, chamber temp of 21c and the other map is when the bed is hot, chamber temp of 45c. Does this look like a gantry bowing issue or is the bed warping that much when heated?
Commissioning V-core 4 500 IDEX - 0.8mm deviation range
Hi there. Had high hopes for my new V-core 4 which I just finished building. But 0.839 deviation range is kinda depressing. Really didn't expect that from a machined aluminum bed. Should I even bother assembling the heater pad at that point ? Any advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks

How good is this mesh for a V-Core 4 500
Hello, I'm trying to make the comissioning guide to my V-Core 4 500 and I want to know how good is this mesh. Also if I can improve it, how can I do? I used the bolts to adjust in different points and also used the adjustable legs to correct some of it. Thank you in advance.

I am already hammering the profiles like a berserk. Nothing moves - not the slightest bit. On neither side. Kinda out of ideas ......
What is the secret to tightening rails?
Have watched the video and nearly there but....
I have reduced the number of screws...
Tightened from left to right.... Right to left... then center outwards (which actually had the best result!)

Tolerances of stock bed?
I see this wave in my Heightmap. The Corners looking ok for me for now. I checked all rails and refastened them from one to the other side. No change 😦
It looks like the bed has this wave itself. I checked the bed like this.
What are the default tolerances which would be ok for the bed? Is this a reason to ask for an exchange? Or should i proceed with heater and magnet etc?...
Mysterious Peak
Hi Guys, i have a question, did i messed up when putting the Magnetic Layer on the Aluminium Bed, i got a Peak in the Middle Left part of the Bed (First one at 25-30°C, Second one at 85°C).
Any ideas i could try?...
Is this a problem with the bed itself or the frame? (V-Core 3.1 500)
So I’ve been doing beacon tests with z tilts adjustments in between each run, to make it more square. I heat soak for around 1-2 hours. The printer stands in my garage (unheated) with enclosure.
I’ve come to the point where both right and left of the back are both around -0.2. Placing same amount of paper on both sides at once do nothing.
Since the 3 motors adjustment points are in a plane and the 2 back sides are almost at the same plane, would this mean my bed is somehow skew in these two sides? Or is it still the frame?...
