vcore 3.1 500

I got the bed mesh to a good place until I heatsoaked the chamber. I never noticed how not flat the bed was because I was printing smaller items. It became obvious when I printed an object that was at the limits of the bed. I have a carbon X gantry. the flatish map is when the bed is cold, chamber temp of 21c and the other map is when the bed is hot, chamber temp of 45c. Does this look like a gantry bowing issue or is the bed warping that much when heated?

I tweaked the x gantry so that when cold I have 0.214 deviation and when heat soaked I have 0.207 deviation... although the mesh is a completely different shape. I guess that's acceptable deviation for a 500mm bed. I got it down to 0.130 until I ran a print and the gantry expanded to what you see in my 1st post. I guess there's nothing to be done to stop the warping of the X gantry as it heat soaks.

Mine has a greater variation between cold and heat soaked than yours, also takes on a different shape and yes that is very acceptable for a 500. I mostly print at 110C so I have the gantry optimized for that temperature and also RATOS 2.1 compensates automatically from the Beacon readings.

https://github.com/Rat-OS/RatOS/releases/tag/v2.1.0-RC2 there is an RC3 version but I have not been able to download it successfully for some reason it quits about 3rd way, but if you do a software update after installing RC2 will update to RC3. You do have to do a fresh install from 2.02, 2.1 will not update from 2.02.

After trying to print a large print where the 1st layer appearance is important, it looks like bed mesh compensation is not working. One corner is squished/too thin , the upper middle is barely adhering to the bed the lower middle is squished, and so on. How do I check to see if there is any compensation happening? I'm using the ratos defaults, the only change I've made to bed_mesh is speed and I'm using adaptive_bed_mesh
variable_adaptive_mesh: True

[bed_mesh]
speed: 1000
