Manually install RatOS-configuration on Mainsail for V-Minion

Hey, Today I installed MainsailOS on my OrangePi Zero2. Cloned RatOS-configuration.git to ~/printer_data/config/RatOS/. Tried to install it with ./scripts/ratos-install.sh, but got an error about the beacon service that I can't reproduce at the moment. I then used the v-minion install script and rebooted. It seems to work. So I updated the moonraker.conf with the [update_manger client RatOS] from my original RatOS. But I got an error from klipper Section 'ratos_homing' is not a valid config section, I don

t know how to fix this.

t know if this is the right way to install the configurations. ...

RatOS on Orange Pi Zero 2 or other non RPis?

Hey, I got an Orange Pi Zero 2 here and want to replace the RPi3A+ because it got no LAN-Port and only one USB-Port. It is possible to get RatOS running on it? I know that, I can install armbian, Klipper over KIAUH and add the Repo for the Printer Configs and Theme manually.
How is that without RatOS to compile Klipper Firmware for the controller boards? Thanks!...

Wiring V-minion

The wiring diagram shows 4 large green squares. Inside the squares are smaller oblong. Am I supposed to put a jumper in this position. It also shows an ADXL345 is this needed. Kind Regards

i made my own theme for klipper and installed it, but now my version control under machine keeps saying ratos is "dirty" any flag i can change to allow custom themes?

Cannot run script for Octopus 1.1 mcu flashing, resulting in failure to flash

Hi all I have for many months been struggling with firmware updating the mcu on my Octopus 1.1 F446 board. To work around the issue, I have resorted to updating via the SDCard firmware file method, but I am now at a point where I hope you can help me overcome the problem and get back to upgrading automatically via the Klipper/RatOS GUI. In the attached screenshot I have cut-n-pasted together my scenario which starts with a Klipper update being advertised in the GUI. This morning it was an upgrade from v0.12.0-9 to v0.12.0-10....

Idle printer, toolboard fans sometimes never shut off

When a print is completed the toolboard fans will shut off after a short period of time of inactivity. However, if you cancel a print, the toolboard fans never shut off long after the steppers have been disabled. Same thing happens if you heat up the extruder, and never even use a stepper motor, the toolboard fans won't shut off. The only way in these circumstances to shut off the fans is to issue an M84 in the console and they will shut off in a minute or so, which is odd because in both cases,...

webcam not working

I have a c310 webcam plugged in to my pi. I cannot get it to work! The device is definitely picked up by the pi according lsusb but have tried many configs in ratos to get it working and it won’t. It used to work in much older versions of ratos. Does anyone have any ideas?

Voron 2.4 Support

How well does RatOS 2 work with the Voron 2.4 these days? Im at a friend he's running an old FluiddPI version which is no longer maintained. Since I am helping him, I figured I'd use RatOS since that is what I am familiar with and I can better help him out. I realize its Mainsail under the hood, so it should work the same as that, I'm just hoping that RatOS has all the default config in place so we spend less time configuring it. Thanks!...

Reinstalling Klipper

Is there a way to reinstall klipper without creating issues with RATOS macros and such ? I'm tryna test out smooth shapers but seems like dmitry's branch doesnt like Ratos klipper install. after switching to that branch, klipper doesnt reboot back up even after reset and such.

Is there any configuration/macros in RatOS supporting chamber heaters? Or do we just use standard klipper configs to add heaters and temp sensors?
