Prime direction not working?

I have in my printer .cfg variable_nozzle_prime_direction:"auto" but it still moves towardthe back.
Its in the "MACRO CONFIGURATION" section do I have to add it under Overrides?

you have

variable_nozzle_prime_direction:"auto"

but you need

variable_nozzle_prime_direction: "auto"

notice the space between the variable name and the setting
