Extra MCU not updated for new version of Klipper

Hi my extra mcu is an SKR mini E3 V3 and for months it has alway updated with new versions of Klipper. But for versions .....154 and now today .....155 the SKR mini has failed to update. What is going on? The printer is working and the skr mini is working as well, but it is still on Klipper 154. I will update via the configurator again but would love for this to stop happening

Idle printer, toolboard fans sometimes never shut off

When a print is completed the toolboard fans will shut off after a short period of time of inactivity. However, if you cancel a print, the toolboard fans never shut off long after the steppers have been disabled. Same thing happens if you heat up the extruder, and never even use a stepper motor, the toolboard fans won't shut off. The only way in these circumstances to shut off the fans is to issue an M84 in the console and they will shut off in a minute or so, which is odd because in both cases, the steppers are no longer active or never were.

Adding more stepper motors

I need two more steppers than my octopus pro 446 provides. I have an skr mini e3 v3 from a project that never happened. Is there any issues with using that as an extra mcu and use it's stepper ports? I ask this before I drill holes in my electronics panel and mount it. Thanks!

Tach is not reading correctly at high speeds

I am using the Delta FFB0412UHN-SM36 fan for part cooling. It works well, but the tach isn't working correctly once RPMs exceed 23700 (according to the tach) or so. This occurs at around 93% on the slider. Once I go at or above 94% the rpms report lower values and goes to zero (even though the fan sounds like it is increasing speed). I should also mention I had to use a poll interval of .00001 in order for the tach to work this well. At suggested polling intervals this behavior occurs at much lower slider percentages about 50% or so. Is this a bug?

MCU lost connection, but only once and then it's fine

This is is an odd issue. When I first power on my printer, and try to run a print, I get a lost connection to mcu toolboard error when attempting to run z tilt (it stops at the first probe point). HOWEVER, after a shutdown and restart of the printer, I can run the printer all day long and it won't happen again.

After updating to moonraker v0.8.0-115-gfdc3e0e, ratos-configurator v2.x-deployment: v2.0.2-deployment-1-gc5b78c0 now is listed as unknown in update manager of mainsail

Question about bed mesh

I've been having issues with z offset not consistent across the bed surface. I homed the bed, ran tilt, rehomed z, ran a bed_mesh_calibrate (even did a 16x17 grid). Then saved it to a profile called cold_bed, and then did a save config. Then after the restart, homed, z tilt, homed z, and then loaded the profile cold_bed. The z offset is correct in the middle of the bed doing a paper test at z = 0, but everywhere else it is wrong . Perhaps bed mesh doesn't compensate unless a print is running?

Help with custom macro

I don't have much experience with writing macros so my knowledge is quite limited. I currently have a servo driven nozzle wipe routine that I can call either manually (when homed and no print is running) or at the beginning of a print automatically (as part of the start print macro that I've customized to call it before the prime). I would also like to be able to call it from the console terminal at will during a print if desired. What statements are required to be added to it so the nozzle wipe macro can run without wrecking the print that's in process? How do I skip those same statements when they are not required (when no print is in process)? Thanks for the help.

Addressing pins on a toolboard

I added a microswitch to my setup (to test filament presence) and have attached it to my EBB42 toolboard at PB5 (an extra unused endstop pin). How do I address that pin? Is simply PB5 enough or do I need to add something else to the assignment to let ratos know I mean the toolboard?

Temps different under V2

I am getting a 2-3 degree temp difference between my extruder temp and bed temp at room temperature. This didn't happen under v1.2.x, a minor point certainly but interesting. I am using a pt1000 on the hot end but not using max 31865 on octopus pro because I got better results in 1.2.4 just setting the sensor type to pt1000. Should I switch it back to the 31865 port for v2?

Update manager warnings after update to ratos 1.2.4-3 and moonraker v0.8-23

I got these warnings post update: Moonraker is not permitted to restart service 'RatOS'. To enable management of this service add RatOS to the bottom of the file /home/pi/printer_data/moonraker.asvc. To disable management for this service set 'is_system_service: False' in the configuration for this section. The other warning was: Moonraker is not permitted to restart service 'timelapse'. To enable management of this service add timelapse to the bottom of the file /home/pi/printer_data/moonraker.asvc. To disable management for this service set 'is_system_service: False' in the configuration for this section. How do I edit moonraker.asvc? I assume with putty. I can get to the file but don't know how to edit it.
