Trouble setting up webcam
I am struggling to get the webcam stream working. I tried following this https://crowsnest.mainsail.xyz/configuration/cam-section. I have a logitech c920e. My camera and crowsnest configuration are attached. I also recently updated my firmware and that didnt help either. No stream is showing in any mode. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Solution:
So I ssh'd into the raspberry pi and ran cd ~/crowsnest and sudo make install. Then after I rebooted, the update manager showed an update for crowsnest. I let it update and rebooted again. (had v4.0.2-0 -> v4.1.9-1). Then I had to set everything in the config file for crowsnest again. Now it works!
IDEX and T0 T1 not matching print coordinates (x shift)
Hello, I'm trying to get IDEX fully working and have some slight trouble having both toohead well calibrated. When printing I have a slight offset as you can wee in picture below.
I have calibrated VAOC 3-4 times with well centered nozzle and it happens at every print....

I'm using a fresh flash of RatOS 2.0.2 on a rpi4 and the configurator says that octopus 1.1 is detected but klipper not detected. When I try to flash it, it just gets back to it. I opened the devtools and found the error in the terminal:

Solution:
ok, the issue seemed to be that going to the link http://ratos.local/configure?step=1 skipped the wifi configuration completely, and was trying to operate without a proper wifi connection

Confirmed I fixed this - had a mismatch of driver slot install and motor cable port. SMH, this has been killing me....
How to use an alias assigned pin for something else
I'm probably missing a post, or guide somewhere, but I've looked and I can't find anything. I'm using a Octopus Max EZ board, and have selected "no fan" for controller fan in the setup wizard. I'm using an always-on fan port for constant cooling for my 5160 drivers. I want to use the alias assigned controller fan port "PA4" for another fan, but when I assign that pin in my config, I get this error.

I want to use another camera for VAOC
I am self sourcing a vc4 and I ended up settling on a USB microscope to use as the VAOC camera, but I do not know how to configure it. The vaoc section of ratos just says webcam stream not found
Solution:
It'll work as long as you have configured it through crowsnest with
camera-streamer on port 8080.
No chamber heater found
Think I am missing something or just being stupid...
Added the Variable and two macros (nothing in them yet but might add something later) in the printer.cfg
Then also added the sensor and heater pin section with the correct pins into the printer.cfg...
Klipper Shutdowns
Hi, I have some problems that they seem related: most of the time I get warnings that the z, z_1 or z_2 stepper drivers are too warm. This is not disturbing me too much , but recently I started to get Klipper shutdowns.
The first was OvertempError reported by the stepper_z1. The second one was a MCU shutdown (see pics).
Both the Octopus Pro board and the Raspberry 4 sit under two large 120mm fans, which are PID-controlled . The temperature is read next to the boards by a special thermistor....
Error after updating board
I've changed out my board to an Octopus Max EZ v.1 and am getting this error. I can't find the issue. I'm sure it's something I've done wrong, just can't figure it out.
Smart filament sensor for Orbiter v2 configuration.

How to upgrade from ratos 1.2 to 2.2 ?

Still running on 1.2, haven't updated for a while...and now I get the screen attached on my printer screen.
What would be the easiest way to upgrade my ratos to v2.2 or 2.1 without loosing my presets ?...

You will have to reflash, there is no update option to 2.1 RC2.
