TMC error upon start up of my VC4.
I have the drivers in with the proper uart slots filled with jumpers.

Ive checked to make sure my jumpers are in the right slots. 24v and I am in UART
Try switching drivers and see if the error follows it around
I could have swore I chose BTT TMC2240 v1.0 when I originally flashed but it was set to 2209's. Now its giving me an spi error. Are 2240's not uart?
Solution
I put jumpers for spi and it works
user error
