Update Manager doesn´t work
Now that my VCore4 system is fully installed, I wanted to start the update manager, but not much is happening. It idles a bit, CPU usage fluctuates a bit, but no data is actually transferred. After 5-10 minutes, the update hook is back and nothing happens. It also makes no difference whether it is WiFi or LAN. Moonraker conf. is apparently OK, at least it matches my Vorons. If you mean it´s a theme for the mainsail channel, feel free to move it.
Inconsistent first layer between prints with Beacon
I am currently struggling with first layer issues. I am currently only printing single layer 100 mm x 100 mm x 0.3 mm shapes to test this. My first print of a day or a work session starts looking decent and then the surface begins to have ripples indicating there is too much squish.
I remove the print and immediately reprint the same file (select reprint from within RatOS) and it prints without any of the rippling issues.
I have adjusted the microstepping for a motors to be 16 as was suggested by others here. ...
RatOS 2.1 Part fan running all the time - even at 0%
I am having some issues with my part fan. When I use the slider in the UI it increases in speed as it should, but when the slider is at 0% it is still running, I would guess somewhere around 2-5%. It is enough for me to feel a little airflow from the part fan vents. It is nothing compared to when running it at 100% which has really high airflow.

A lot of communication timeout.
Brand new machine and cables, I'm having a lot communication timeout whether it's on the X Or Z homing.

After putting back together my umbilical with less strain on the USB cable, looks like to not happen anymore.
Octopus V1.1 F446 detected but is unresponsive.
During the initial setup I have the Octopus board unrensponsive.
I’ve tried to flash again multiple times but nothing to do.
I’ve also tried deconnectin all the cables and removing the jumpers to try the Micro SD mode formatting an 8GB card with
sudo newfs_msdos -F 32 -c 8 -v FW /dev/disk6s1
But nothing to do: I get a fixed blue led near the card but nothing happens on startup or after pressing reset button....Solution:
If not, the bootloader is dead, and then yeah you should try and flash it.
Why can I not reach Ratos.local on my PC (chrome), but safari on my phone is able to connect?
More of a Chrome related question, not sure if any of my extensions may be causing the issue - perhaps someone knows whats happening.
I know the image is loading fine, as I can always connect via safari on my iPhone or 2009 macbook air, but not with my PC running chrome or microsoft edge. I assume there is an issue moreso with my network settings than anything else but not sure how to fix this....
