Added second fan to controller
Hey guys I just added a second fan to my octopus controller board and I am trying to address it to PD13. The original one was PD12. I'm doing this in the printer config file. I copied and pasted [fan controller] and changed the name to [fan1 controller] pin pd13. Klipper doesnt like it. Can anyone assist? Thanks

Performance mode?
Vcore 3.1 500 octopus board with EBB 1.2 toolboard, orbiter 2.5 extruder, phateus rapido hf hot end. I notice in the machine setup wizard if I enable "performance mode" it changes all the stepper motor drive current from 1.1 to 1.6 except for the extruder motor which remains at .707 regardless of performance mode or not. I'm looking to speed the machine up. My question is if all the other motors current are upped doesn't the extruder current have to go up as well to keep up with the new speed of the x any y axes?

New rat rig toolhead with super pinda
Hey guys I just added the rat rig tool head v 1.0. It came with the " super pinda" proximity sensor. In the rat os configurator I select the super pinda and saved and confirmed the config file. However I now have error "Option 'control_pin' in section 'bltouch' must be specified" . Again I'm not using the bl touch anymore. Anyone experience this? Thanks guys

Part cooling fan and hot end fan questions
Finally after 2 years I got my vcore 3 1 500 machine running. However it leads to two more questions.... the hot end fan...should it be pushing air towards the heat sink or should the air be pushing away? Also the part cooling fan runs faster at a lower percentage speed command. Example 100% the fan is off, 20% seems to run fastest? Is there a way to reverse that? Thanks guys!

Configuring without machine actually being done....?
So this will be my second post on this forum and it may sound like a dumb one... I literally just got through getting my sd card to flash and verify properly. I did make it work the other evening but skipped the verification process which I later found out was a no no. That evening after getting the sd card in the pi and setting up the wifi I decided to connect my octopus pro 446 board. After some struggles I did get it to connect (had to jumper bootloader mode pins) and use DFU. I did get the octopus flashed however it kept coming up with a version mismatch between the pi and the octopus board. I went ahead and hit next anyways....I then went to the main user interface (klipper? mainsail?) and selected my printer and options. Now I should probably also mention that the octopus board is in no way connected to the actual printer.... just octopus-> pi, no steppers , no thermisters, etc. I am as expected getting (klippy?) errors stating bed temp and hot end temp values not in range, again I would expect that. Can anyone verify that what ive done so far appears correct? I realize that when I leave work today I will have to go through the entire process again due to me reflashing the sd card at work using pi imager. Should I get the rest of the equipment connected ie steppers, thermister, etc etc connected before doing machine updates? As I have read it appears to do RatOs updates first. Can I do this without the rest of the pronter connected? Thanks again guys I appreciate all the help Chris
