X-Y Hole compensation / tolerances
I created this calibration print with holes in it, and the outer dimensions were perfect, but the inner ones were off by some fraction of millimeter. After I adjusted the X-Y hole compensation in my slicer, the dimensions are now perfect. Except, I have an "island" (a feature inside a hole" that just got shrunk instead of expanded (should be 5mm, was 4.8, went down to 4.6). This is a signal for me that maybe adjusting this setting is not very robust. However, I'd like to attempt to fix it somehow, since currently my V-Core's tolerances are currently worse than the original Ender 3 that I have (of course the RatRig is printing way faster than the Ender).
I guess what I'm asking here is: What are some common issues that might lead to only internal dimensions being off?...
When using a prime blob with PETG, the blob sticks to the nozzle.
very time the blob sticks to the nozzle and the first layer fails.
Is there any solution?...
No bridging possible
Hello,
I have a problem with my printer and I can't figure out why. It seems I can't manage to have any bridging no matter what I try.
I did try lowering the bridge speed to even 10mm/s, I did try to increase the fan to 100% ( delta fan), I did try other settings in slicer ( tried superslicer and also prusaslicer just to compare) and now I have no idea anymore what can I try.

Z-squish depending on part size
Hello everyone,
I am having a very strange problem: I tried to calibrate my Z-Offset using a large square (150x100mm), which worked very well. However, I got too much squish on small parts.
So I printed three squares: 50x50mm, 30x30mm and 10x10mm

was this a partial clog or something else?
It goes all the way around and after a centimeter or so it stops.
Floating Z
i got it to start a print but boy is it a mess. nothing like my other printer with Klipper ( Voron cube) So I can see right off that z is way off this is a 0.12 mm print. would this be the setup off the z motors? ALso what could cause that wavy effect. The first layer goes down printy well but after that its a mess. any ideas.
what should be these lines?

Underextrusion even with high extrusion multiplier
Printer is a V-core 3.1 400m. Orbiter 2 with phaetus rapido UHF 0.6mm nozzle. Filament is hatchbox PLA, Speed is mostly 150mm/s. I have checked the equivalent to e steps, so the printer is pushing 100mm of filament if told to extrude 100mm. I am still getting underextrusion at a EM of 1.2 and seems to vary between prusa and super slicer with identical settings as far as i can tell. Below are photos of different test prints with settings, I'll put them in replies so that they are better organized...
The finish of my prints is ugly
When I print something I always have an ugly finish on the vertical parts of the prints.
I don't know which parameters I can change. I already to over extrude or under extrude. But it change nothing.
The photos is actually a print with abs. Bed 100° nozzle 240°....
VFA Problem
I'm using sherpa mini and dragon standard flow, I've done all the calibrations. I adjusted the belts at 150mm at 110hz but somehow the vertical lines not improving

Issues where filament randomly leaves gaps and even doesn't print some lines
So I set up my printer, configured everything and tried a cali cube, all fine except first layer was bit high up but then trying something else my printer did weird stuff, always in the same spot it is stopping to extrude filament (already tried turning PA to 0 and 0.05 but no effect. It comes to the point it even 'forgets' to print 3 full walls on the inner circle shown in the image. Also when filling the solid layer it leaves gaps at the same spots all the time and it kind of seems like it is going slightly outside the walls.
Is this firmware/slicer related or mechanically? I'm kind of out of ideas, it's my first klipper printer so not that experienced.
Also printing with a 0.6 Volcano nozzle
TIA...
What is this?! Wet filament? Clogged or fried nozzle? Prusa PC-CF which usually works awesome.
Filament was recently dried (but not quite to optimal temperature but several times as long). Bottom - New part had some infill/perimeter issues.... otherwise looks ok. Middle - ran an extrusion multiplier test... tweaked a small amount but was general okay and adjusted test looked improved. Top - Reprinted part - first few layers looked fair but then it started spewing crazy fuzz. One note is the first few layers are a chamfer and the ugly portion is straight wall.... also note infill looks...
tuning a 0.6mm nozzle
Hi
I have just move from a 0.4mm cht nozzle on my rapido to the UHF 0.6mm nozzle and I am tuning the bottom and top layer .
The bottom layer squish still shows some lines on the outer edges would I need to adjust z height a bit lower to get it better?
And also the top layer aren't looking perfect so I am wondering whether I still need to work on the EM maybe lower a bit more what do you reckon ?
Thank you...
First layer issue
This is the most squished I can get my first layer to go and I literally can't go lower without destroying my nozzle. This is 2 layers thick 1mm nozzle 1.2mm first layer width.
help cleaning up these corners after switching to .6mm nozzles from .4
Just switched to .6mm nozzles and trying to get dialed. Can you guys help me clean up these corners? The bracket with holes was printed with extrusion multiplier at 1 and the cube was at .99 which caused other issues.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to a linear advance tuning file for .6mm nozzles with Petg at 255-265 degrees? Thanks a ton...
