Bad first layer, mesh not compensating as it should
So ive had this problem forma while and yesturday i tried to increase the mesh points to 20x20 just to maybe get a more accurate mesh, but no.. here some pictures and a video so u can see what it looks like
Bed mesh does nothing
Hi I have a V-Core3 500 and the first layer is always uneven where some parts are much too close to the bed and others are too far away! I have it set up to probe 100 points with and inductive probe and it still won’t work. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

after shiming right rail no Differenc
Hi,
I Was trying to get by bed better. So i try to shim the right rail.
I put shimtape between the rail and the profile. Maximum was 0.4 on the right back corner. So normaly i would say that must lift up the rear right corner in the mesh. But it doesnt happen. If i compare it with the normal one.(Without shim) it looks better i think. But the Differenc arr so small. Can anyone explain it?
Generaly i interested to know if this mesh ist bad or good for a 300? ...
Increase probe points
If i want to make a mesh thats for example 10x10, do i have to change the relative_reference_index aswell? or can i just put the probe_count in override?
Mesh got worse after installing the enclosure
So, I've had some issues getting my frame (vcore 3.1 400) to be level and square, and the mesh had around 0.17mm of variance, which was fine by me
However, After adding the enclosure panels, this is what I get (Image 1) and my old mesh (Image 2).
It seems like the bed is sagging heavily at the back, non supported corners, but I don't see how this can be caused by the enclosure....
Why is this happening?
I have Auto bed adjustment on and i can see that the z lead screws are moving, but this happens when i go a first layer test.
Pretty flat, but tilted on initial meshes (V-Core 3.1 400mm)
I tried pushing down on the front right corner, but it doesn't seem to be changing my numbers at all. The range is always around 1.8mm.
Wacky mesh, please help
We have been trying to adjust our mesh and any change we do seems to have no positive impact...
We are using this https://docs.ratrig.com/commissioning-guides/v-core-3-1 guide.
We have lowered and raised the A and B corners multiples times. What are we doing wrong?...
VCore 3.1 enclosed mesh
Having a lot of trouble getting my mesh better. I've run out of room to adjust due to the enclosure panels not having anymore room for the bracket to go up. Anyone have any ideas of what else I can try to fix this?
Solved: Mesh getting worse over time
I used to get a pretty decent mesh with a range of 0.175. The last couple prints I've done I noticed the mesh getting worse and worse with a notable dip in one corner. What could be the issue?
All 4 corners are higher than the center.
Hello, all! I haven't done a whole lot with figuring this out before, but I just installed a Beacon probe and figured that now would be a good time to start.
I'm not sure what would cause a dishing shape to my mesh like this, other than maybe the X gantry being bowed, but I'm using the extrusionless mod with two linear rails and the Y axis also has bowing.
Any help to point me in the right direction is greatly appreciated! TIA!...
Bed Compensates Too much
Hello all. Recently I notice that my printer mesh and the Z are compensating too much.
As you can see on the mesh. There are high and low points. On the highest point, the printhead is far from bed and vice versa.
Which makes me confused how does the software behaved.
FYI: I use LDO 42STH48-2504AC SpeedyPower for 6 steppers....
Good after rebuilding VC3 400
My frame was way off so i rebuilt the whole thing. You can see the before pic and after pic. I got it down from a .662 to a .165 variance. Which is good. But I have a dip of .118 in the far left side. Anyone know what would do that. It's like a hole
BL-Touch Failed To Deploy
Hello, so I finally have my 500mm v-core 3.1 setup and i am havig an issue with the bed mesh. The bl-touch probe will not be able to deploy at some points during the bed mesh because it is too close to the bed. How can I fix this? I tried the horizontal_z_move but it never did anything. I have attched my printer config below and hope you can help!
Pringles shaped bed?
Hello, I did a bet mesh and it came out like that. I have the 500mm vcore 3.1. I was wondering if -0.62 and +0,49 are good or bad? Is there anything i can try to fix this?
Mesh waves
Enclosed V-Core 500. Just finished doing some corner adjustments and then loosening and retightening x-gantry bolts, which brought the variance down from ~1.0 to ~0.3. However, now a strange wave pattern is showing up on the X axis, and I'm wondering what could be causing it.
Z- TILT doesnt work correctly
I have a very weird problem with my heightmap. I seem top have a relatively flat bed with minor bending in the y-axis. The problem im facing is that the whole bed seems to be tilted to the back of the printer.
How should i fix this issue?...
VC400 bow in heightmap
Attached is the current heightmap of my V-Core 3.1 400 (Enclosure 2.0) - I've invested around 3-4h of adjusting the extrusions.
I've watched the video for finetuning the frame (https://docs.ratrig.com/commissioning-guides/v-core-3-1#build-plate-preparation) and did so accordingly.
As far as I can see, the bed is bent down, which points to a bow in the gantry - so I readjusted the linear rails on x-axis and for good measure on y-axis, too. They are tightened at around 1Nm max to avoid bending the extrusion. But to no avail -.-
Anyone got another idea?

new rat rig 3.1 build bed is definitely not flat any ideas
I’m doing a cold bed mesh to check how flat the new bed on the new printer is I usually get mandala rose work beds but this one came with the kit so I am trying it out is this normal for a new bed from rat rig on a cold check using beacon
