Interpreting belt tension graphs
I just upgraded my Vcore 3 to 3.1 and Ratos 2.1 RC3
tensioned the belts to a kina equal tension just by sound and now ran the frequency measure belt tension macro
The first Result I interpreted as lower belt being too loose, increased by half a turn and ran the second test. It barely changed and from the tone the belt makes when manually "stroking" it the lower already sounds higher (so more tension)...

Better results with Mirror/Copy than Single? 500 IDEX
So, I'm getting mixed results in Single mode vs Mirror/Copy.
500 Idex.
I get consistent MZV recommendation on Mirror/Copy but not on Single.

vibrations increase when right hybrid tighten
Why do vibrations increase significantly when I tighten the belt tension on the right side, and why are they smaller when it’s loose? What is the problem?
A lot of noise and spikes on Y
Biqu belter at 6.8mm, graph looks terrible and those spikes at 125hz… has anyone ever experienced this?
Any suggestions?...

IS Numbers
I came up with a theory today, after making a few observations on Klipper's mzv accel numbers returned from input shaping freqs. I know much is not explained here, but its simpler than people think.
The mzv accel number is not some magic algorhythm that comes from complex calculation. Its a nearly linear scale plot, based on the frequency that your x or y axis center resonance peaks at.
I took 11 mzv freq's and accels from this Discord, and plotted them on an Excel chart, just to verify my hypothesis. As you can see, Klipper applies the recommended accel in a nearly linear manner....
Belt Tension check V-Core 4 400
Hi, after some tuning I came down to these resonance graphs. I tuned belt tension to just below 75Hz which I guess is somewhere just below the recommended upper limit? How does it look? Room for improvement?

VC4 500 IDEX - 125hz Peak
Man I am so close to finally having Y serviceable, anyone have any idea what the 125hz hump is?
Solution:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxR78WhgLEU I have marked my previous video as unlisted. It's still available in the description of this new video if anyone wants to hear my original gripes, but with Ratrig's recent actions (i.e., redo of the commissioning guide, hopefully more) I feel like it's not being productive beating them down further by leaving that up in the YouTube search.

VC3.1 300 Belt Tension Help
Hi all, I am working on retuning my vcore 3.1 after it sat neglected for a while. I did input shaper and noticed my y-axis is pretty bad. I also checked my belt tension, and know they're supposed to line up, but I'm actually not quite sure how to read the graph so I know what to adjust. Any insight would be appreciated.

VC4 500 Good enough to install hybrid belts?
Hi all,
I've recently finished up a VC4 500 and got the attached response and shaper graphs.
In my opinion, these look to be good enough for me except for some leftover resonance in the 100-135Hz range and close to 200Hz. I left an inch of belt on both sides of the toolhead (in case anything goes wrong) so I have a feeling those are the causing the resonance. I would prefer not mess with the base core xy belts anymore since things like this can begin to spiral out of control. ...

3 Humps on Y Tension Graph IDEX
Cannot for the life of me figure out what is causing the 3 humps on this graph.. I've tried tensions from way too lose to quite tight. Have ensured no pulley are rubbing and tightened all screws on the toolheads etc. Any ideas?

Messy Y graphs
Looking for guidance on where to look next on a VC4 500 IDEX. Y belts are the exact same length and same number of teeth. Belt tension meter (the PFMakes printed version) shows repeatably similar tension between all the belts. Cables and wires on the tool heads are zip tied in multiple locations to minimize any issues. I have double checked hardware was tight. I removed the decorative corner bracket covers on the front because they were loose. Despite all that, my Y graphs are a complete mess and honestly the whole machine resonates on the Y test. Any guidance is appreciated.
Thanks....

V3.1 300m with RR toolhead belt tension:
Hi I am in the process of doing the MFBS hybrid mod for the v3.1 on my 300mm and i am tensioning the belts before attaching the hybrid belts and i am wondering if this graph is any good ,i have checked the tightness of all the bolts on the toolhead and the gantry seems square .
any input gratefully appreciated thank you...

V-Core 4 500 IDEX Peak at 125hz
Here are my current Tension and IS results. I have this peak at about 125hz at Y and I dont know how to get rid of it. I already reassembled both toolheads and checked for loose bolts etc. on the gantry. I got all the toolhead wires and umbilical ziptied and secured (I'm on my second pack of zipties 🗿) The idlers are the Ratrig heavy duty idlers. Dont know what else to check 🫠
Solution:
After about 3 months of hunting this down it was the whole rear panel vibrating at 125hz 🥲

vc4 500 core xy for now first resonance
thoughts advice? i know i have a few oose cable ties on the toolhead

vcore 3 500mm graph help
the only thing i know is that the "top belt" and bottom belt are reversed from the graph label.
how do i make this better? as to my understanding i want the belts graph to be almost on top of each other and same with resonance graph...

Weird Tail
Using a VCore 3.1(ish) 500. Added the front end tensioners rather than on the toolhead.
I have behavior on my input shaper graphs that I do not know how to troubleshoot.
These are the graphs as they were last measured. That noise at the upper range, I have no idea what that is. They're not perfect outside of that, but I don't think chasing down that little bump on the lower end is going to be worth it unless I get the bigger noise down....

Dampening issue on Y-axis (VC3.1 - 300 enclosed)
Hi I have a dampening issue on the y-axis (I think). I believe that the left linear rail starts "rubbing" once I tighten the gantry bolts and have tension on the belts. I have been figthing this ever since I have the printer 2 years ago. usually, I can "fuss about" intill it's gone but not today. Any tips? (X-axis seems smooth as babies bottom...)
Solution:
btw, made a first successfull print. not 100% content with the quality yet but good enough to mark this solved. Thanx @mazas !

VC4 500 IDEX extra spikes on X axis
Why do I have 2 spikes about the same amlpitude? Tried to run oscillator on that range and don't hear anything loose. IDEX belts are installed, without them toolheads are moving both axes when running tests on X.
