GENERATE_SHAPER_GRAPHS Crashes Klipper
I am trying to run the shaper macro on my VCore-4 IDEX system. Beacon on T0, and the EBB42 with ADXL on T1.
When I run the macro (using defaults or specifying toolhead and axis as parameters), Klipper Crashes with the error "Internal error on command: "TEST_RESONANCES"
Not sure if it helps, but I've attached the klippy.log text when the error occurs...
vc4 500: What am I looking at?
If I'm reading this graph correctly the lower belt should be tensioned in order to achieve the same tension as the upper belt. But doing so results in a skewed gantry. Could something else be at play or are the differences in peak heights normal?
vc3.1 400 impossible to align both peaks
I'm trying to maximise the quality of my v-core but i can't find a solution to make the yellow line as high and synced with the blue one.
Need advices please...
vc4 300 hybrid input shaper
Hi everyone, I got my belts tensioned and installed the hybrid belts.
These are the graphs that I'm getting.
They look good but I think the accelerations are a bit low.
Do you have any idea how I can push this further?
Also, tight now I have MZV on both, how would changing it to only ZV affect print quality? Cause it giving me around a third more....
belt tension
Second peak missing hight. Tried everything and its always like this. Hybrid belts on is there change that they cause this?
belts issue
Hello I have the problem with my belts. (V4 500) the first picture was before I was trying to get a better result. I only tightened the belts not more but then I got the second pic.
Tried it 15 times loosen and tightened the screws. Any tips or ideas ?...

VC4 500
Hello, I'm currently adjusting my VC4 500 Hybrid. So far everything has gone well and I have installed the hybrid y belts, now I have arrived at the input shaper. I just can't do much with the measurement, i.e. I have no idea what it is telling me. Not even after hours of reading here in the discord. Can anyone tell me why i have a 2nd spike on y?
VC4 300 Hybrid belt tension
Hi, I'd appreciate your help and input.
I started tuning the printer and noticed I had the upper belt motor pully upside down.
I flipped it to the correct orientation but now I cant seem to be able to match the belts.
The lower belts is at the end of the tensioner so i cant pull it tighter and I'm not sure if the graph is OK or not.

V-Core 3.1 500 Unenclosed
Greetings, I hope you are all having a great day. May someone please help me understand the frequency response and shapers/belt tension resonances please? (I'm colourblind and have a hard time identifying which line represents which value). Thank you in advance ❤️
v-core 4 500 hybrid - belts tension and motors help
Hello, I have a vcore 4 500 hybrid enclosed. I'm experiencing multiple issues, but I'll post the bed mesh ones in the other dedicated channel. My goal is to print large ASA parts but either due to warping or for ringing, I can't achieve good results.
These are the graphs I obtain without the hybrid belts. The hybrid motors are mounted and hooked btw.
- Can someone help analyse what's wrong here and how to fix it? I've already disassembled and reassembled all motor plates, bearings, spacers and belts: they seem aligned.
- All bearings should move freely: but does that mean that they have to spin a bit after making them spin with the finger fast ? Like a skateboard wheel ? During assembly I noticed some of them were spinning very freely while others just normally, with not much inertia after the spin....
Not having any luck fixing the belt tension.
I've redone the belts and as far as I can tell the gantry is true. What else should I look for?
VC400 Hybrid belts kicking my butt and taking my lunch money
Tuning my Hybrid belts is becoming quite the ordeal. Stock coreXY mzv Y acceleration is about 3700, adding y belts only takes it up to 4200, but the response is terrible. If I do tune the y belts to make an acceptable graph, the acceleration will still sit at around 4000, but the belts are just tightened with finger strength, nothing more. I tried tuning with the pinned macro isolating the y belts, but I can't tighten or loosen the belts to get the response to be anywhere close to matching.
first 3 added pics are during core xy. Last few pics are during hybrid calibration...
Solution:
Solved it. The hybrid belts needed to be much tighter than I had initially. I bottomed out one of my tensioners.
Please comment VC4-300 CoreXY and Hybrid
These were my charts for CoreXY configuration after tuning (Ok, but not great; I just was not able to get the peak at 100Hz away)
V-Core 3.0 500 Belt Tension
I'm wondering what I adjust here, is this just a dark art or should I be loosening/tightning one or both belts until the vertical peaks line up? 🙂
VCore4 400 CoreXY Graphs
Just finished building my VCore4 400 CoreXY. Wanted to make sure my graphs were decent before I went to add the hybrid kit.

Currently trying to get my belts even
Solution:
How does this look, dropped both to around 92hz
VC4 500mm - Can't figure out toolhead vibrations
So, I finally got some good graphs but I've always had this same noise on all my graphs. I can't figure out where it's coming from. Here is my latest graph and pictures of my toolhead. I rebuilt and retightened everything down on my toolhead. Rerouted my wiring, tried different orientations. I just don't know what to do at this point so any help greatly appreciated.
The noise is the same in every graph at the 115-135 range. Has that exact same shape. Just need some guidance on what to look for or if I should just move on. I get it, look for loose stuff on the toolhead but I've literally checked everything. I've wasted an incredible amount of time trying to fix it and have projects that I need to get printed and done. Thank you.
Also, I just realized that I can run the tension graph even without changing anything and it will produce different results. Maybe I should just align my gantry up front and call it a day....
Vcore4 500 First Belt tension
Just ran the first Belt Tension Test and anted to verify that this is looking ok.
Curves are pretty much the same except for the 110-130 Hz range.
Thanks....
