V-Core 4 - 300 - Gap between upper and lower

Hello everyone, trying to tune my belts, but when I tension my belts that the gantry is aligned to the front I always get the gap between upper and lower belt. Does anyone has an idea how to fix it? And is there any recommendation which power spectral density/tension I should aim for?

I think there is no tension you can aim for. Especially not when reading these graphs. The graphs can not show you absolute tension, only relative tension. At least that’s what iam reading here and there Your relative tension is fine. The peaks align on the same frequency. Usually that also indicates that your belts are of the same length. Make a shaper graph for both axis and post the result here.

Here they are. The hybrid belts are not yet installed!

Y could be at 5500 X could be at 16000 These are my values. I assume your belts are either too tight or too loose. I assume too loose. I got the Same values with too loose belts. Used prusas belt tuning app and a reference too frequencies in this discord to tune the belts. BUT: your Graph will be changing when installing the hybrid belt. What is really good at your graph is relative belt tension. I would leave it as is and proceed with hybrid. You’ll get more chances to tune the belts when rebuilding your machine or modding it. Another good indicator in your relative belt tension is: you do not have any noise in them. So it seems that your gantry is well built and your screws are tight.
