First Layer has Lots of Gaps?

I've been having problems with my first layer. It sometimes ends up having gaps like in the pic. I've spent hours adjusting pressure advance, flow rate, and the z offset and I can't seem to get rid of it. I find because of this my first layer adhesion tends to be bad and it tends to lift up frequently. I didn't have this problem before.

Z-Banding V Minion

So I guess this is z banding. Anyone got an idea what I could do against it on my v minion.

Issues with “long blobs”

Hello, having some issues regarding what I believe to be extrusion. I’ve checked extruder esteps and everything is flawless. It extruder isn’t skipping. Additionally there appears to be a sort of “drift” along the X axis as the machine’s gantry seems to slightly layer shift to the right, leading to trapezoidal shapes.

V-minion z-wobble or banding

Hi all, I built a v-minion full kit from ratrig, everything was ok but when I tested it I found some z-wobble/banding, artifacts in Z axe (in my opinion). After that I try a lot of things, I try to give my best aligning the leadscrew with the pom nut and motor but the problem was still there, I replaced everything, the leadscrew, the coupler (spider and other types), even the stepper motor and the linear rail. I changed the pillow block printed part for another one... The last thing I'm thinking about is about a skew error, something that is not 100% squared in the main frame, so I'm thinking about re-done everything again, even print all parts again. In the other hand I have some mods that I've found here and around. Like double linear rail in Z with a new printed part instead of the one that I have that is metallic. I also saw a mod with a motor with leadscrew integrated like voron or prusa. I also see one that is using an oldham coupler instead of the pom t-nut....

ASA overhang problems

I'm trying to print the decoupler mod for the motors, but I can't get this overhang right on my vminion. I tried to print it slower at around 50mm/s, but that did only improve it a bit.

Issue with overhang first layer and support bridging

I'm having some issues with overhangs as seen in the xyz cube, the first layer of the overhang for the "X" and "Y". I think it is a similar issue as the first layer that use supports also don't turn out great.

Overextrusion after internal top layers

Good afternoon, there is some serious problem with overextrusion of the upper layers using PrusaSlicer, in fact, as I understand it, the slicer makes a supposedly thick layer of infill, stretches bridges over the infill. With a layer of 0.2mm, the layer of bridges is 0.57mm, but the problem is that my layer is applied perfectly horizontally and without sagging. As a result, the next layer of solid filling is printed with overextrusion and this parameter accumulates. The extruder is calibrated, the plastic is also normal....

Stringy prints

I have the 500x500 V-Core 3.1 (Enclosed), Bondtech LGX Lite, Rapido 2 UHF, 0.6mm Nozzle. We have been running MatterHackers Build PLA at 205/68. No adjustments to the speed on the SuperSlicer profile. Prints have a lot of stringing, spiderweb-like. We tried 1 mm/40 mm/s stock retraction settings, we are now at 10mm/40 mm/s. Any recommendations?

nozzle 0,8

I have a new v3.1 500, I installed nozzle 0.8 modified the firmware, set up prusa slicer and I can't print. I have set the Z to lift at the crossings. Nothing has helped and the print is ugly, but mainly the layers shift and by several centimeters. I run the print at night so I can't see exactly what is happening. I print from PLA. Any advice on how to print with a 0.8 nozzle and set everything up to work? setup: LGX, Mosquito Magnum ...

1st print great, 2nd print cracking/seperation

Any ideas on what might be happening here? 1st print went great. 2nd print there was layer separation ~3/4 through the print. The separation happened 10 layers after a bridging routine. I have a 4028 fan. I thought I had it turned down but looks like not. it's running 100%. Does the excessive airflow and small part size cause the separation?...

Poor bridging on first solid top layer

I am having problems with poor bridging on the first solid top layer. For some reason the ends of the bridge do not want to attach to the inner perimeters. This poor surface results in getting a poor final top layer unless I add a whole bunch of extra top layers. The example shown was done with Polyterra PLA printing at 205C. Bridging flow is 0.8 and speed is 70mm/s while most of my solid infill is at 200mm/s. Cooling is set at 100% for bridging and I am using a 4028 fan. The filament was just received and freshly opened today....
