Cant get RatOS working on a Voron2.4 with Euclid Probe to Set Z height
I recently bought a used Voron 2.4 that had a Spider 3.0 board. My main printer is a Vcore3.1 running RatOS and I love the configuration and Software updates that go with it.
Since the Spider 3.0 is not supported by RatOS, I decided to purchase an Octopus Pro 446 to put in the Voron and set it up with RatOS.
I have most everything working; motors, fans, heaters, temp probes, end stops, etc; but I am stuck and having problems with setting the Z height and getting the Euclid probe to work. Whenever I try to home the Z axis, it first tries to do something the Euclid probe and then errors out when it doesn't see the probe. This might be the right procedure with a VCore but on a Voron there should be no interaction with the Euclid probe until the Z height is set as the gantry and the probe do not start on the same Z level. I know that there is a slim chance that someone else has the same configuration but could someone explain to me how I can disconnect the homing of the Z axis from interacting with the Euclid probe

Printer keeps dropping off the network
Over the last couple of days my printer has started to repeatedly drop off the wireless home network. I am sure that this problem is restricted to the Raspberry Pi as I am not having any other network problems with the other 13 devices connected to my router. I am sure that the printer is not communicating. I cannot ping the printer and the router does not list it as a connected device. I can reboot the printer and it shows back up but within 15 minutes to a couple of hours later it has dropped. All this is without doing any printing in the meantime.
This is a recent change; but one that I am not sure is connected to any recent updates I have made to the configuration. I make it a point to update very regularly as the RatOS team is constantly making improvements and updates to the version 2.1. What information can I provide that can help resolve this issue? I am not a Linux expert but can log on directly with a connected monitor and keyboard to dig up whatever info I can provide.
Suggestions?

Btt Kraken definition files contain references to octopus-max-ez?
I was looking thru the RatOS files to see how the Btt Kraken board is configured. I saw several references to the Max EZ. Is this by design or just copy and paste errors?

Does Prime Blob adjust for Nozzle Size?
I started to experiment with a .8mm nozzle; never used one that large before. One thing I noticed is that the Prime Blob does not seem to be as large as when using a .4mm nozzle and as such is not as effective in removing "strings" from the nozzle tip. Does anyone know if the nozzle size has an impact on extrusion rate or amount?

Setup.sh Error
I just received my 3.1 upgrade and my enclosure 2.0 so I had some work to do. After getting everything setup, I noticed that I have a Moonraker error related to Ratos. I had several but have been able to get it down to one by making directories. The remaining error is:
Moonraker warnings found. [update_manager]: Failed to load extension ratos-configurator: Invalid path for option

install_script in section [update_manager ratos-configurator]: Path /home/pi/ratos-configurator/scripts/setup.sh does not exist.
Any suggestions? Let me know what other files may be needed to troubleshoot.7 replies
