Supported board but unsupported printer

In the process of updating my V-Minion and was going to replace my old skr mini e3 v2 with a RatOS supported board. Both the M4P and Mini E3 V3 are supported, I'm guessing they are for the experimental Prusa support, but they are not supported boards for the V-Minion - https://os.ratrig.com/docs/printers/v-minion. They have more than enough ports, even more when using a tool head board. What's the best way to use one of those boards with the minion, or an unsupported board in ratos like the Pico...

Connection error

I try to build an V Minion with ebb 42 toolboard but i cant flash i can put it into dfu mode but it doesn’t flash right show me everytime this error. Anybody know how to fix or have before same problem?...

mellow board support

I made a file to support mellow super 8 pro. I just don’t know how to do pull requests. I can share files but just don’t know how to process it. Also I want to make two mellow tool boards compatible too but that’s for later

WebRTC issues

I have an IDEX with RatOS installed and its been working great up until a few days ago. All of a sudden i cant get the VAOC-camera working. The camera is setup to run with camera-streamer in the crowsnest config file. When i add a webcam in the mailsail interface it wont work if i select WebRTC (camera-streamer) as service. The image is just black with "connecting" shown, after a little while it will change to "failed" for a few seconds before going back to "connecting" again. If i change the service to "Adaptive MJPEG-streamer" it works just fine. But this will not work with VAOC. I´ve tried reflashing ratos to the pi´s sd-card without success. Hopefullly someone can point me in the right direction here. ...

Pin 'J56' is not valid pin name on 'mcu'

Hi, I am trying to get proper lighting control for the Dayspring LEDs on RatOS 2.1 RC2. However, Klipper reports the pin name I am using is not valid, but according the the pin diagram it does exist. I've included my printer.cf and led.cfg in the .zip folder. Any ideas?

Maybe J56 and J57 aren't controllable?

PB13 is reserved for spi2 on EBB42 v1. 2

HI. I'm setting up my printer for IDex with the 2 toolboards. Downloaded latest RATOS and went through new setup. When all done, I get this error which makes no sense unless the pin of the EBB42 1.2 has been setup incorrectly? PB13 USED to be SPI on v1.1 but it is now hotend heater. How can I correct this?

@MDFPereira Thank you very much! The MAX31865 configuration was the problem. I changed my sensor in Klipper to 104NT and now it works. The error message must have been a bit misleading. Thanks again!...

version mismatch, seems like a truncation issue?

When running the configurator, I get the error message attached. Reflashing does not change the situation. To a layman this would seem like an issue in string lengths/truncatoin. What might cause this? This is on RatOS v2.1.0-RC2-75-g883f6239 ratos-configurator v2.1.0-RC2-14-gb56fb62a...

m8p+cb1 temp error after flash to can RatOs v2.0.2

#fix-my-printer hi I have RatOs 2.0.2 on m8p V1.1 andCB1. After setting m8p to CANBUS for use with BTT MMB (ercf v2) I have this at idle. I'm now trying RatOs v2.1.1rc2 on new SD card, should I set it with or without tool head board?...

CANBUS running and mcu overridden but serial is restored in ratos.cfg after reboot

I have RatOS 2.1 running on a Manta M8P 2.0 with CM4 and EBB42 via CAN connection (non usb). Everything is working when i comment out this section is ratos.cfg #[mcu] #serial: /dev/btt-manta-m8p-20 ...

Solution:

Currently the only way to use CAN is to copy RatOS.cfg to a different file. It's a lot of micro management, i know, but we're focusing on UX via USB, so CAN is not really something i'm prioritizing.

Poke Speed

Noticed that the beacon poke speed in all the macros is not connected to the probing speed variable in the config. My beacon will throw an error if probing at more than 2mm/s and I fixed that but all the autocal macros are broken because the poke speed for every macro is independently set in each one.

Why was primeline removed?

Hi, I was attempting to print some TPU here and was having clogging issues with primeblob I tried to switch to primeline but noticed it got recently removed from https://github.com/Rat-OS/RatOS-configuration/commit/f3baed124c16aa48e8875b75315467c1eb4391d5 For now I used "variable_nozzle_priming: False" but why removing primeline? it is useful in some cases. I am getting this error message: Invalid adxl345 id (got ff vs e5). This is a known good board I have used before with my SKR Pro 1.1 board I am now using and Octopus Pro (446) board and I wired it up as per this diagram....

Significant Layer Shift on Multiple Printers

I'm running RatOS 2.1-RC2 on two printers (Voron 2.4 and VCore 4) and every 10th print or so I'm getting an odd shifting of layers after printing the first few layers. I've seen the pictured issue with different models and on both printers. Any idea what would cause this?

RatOS 2.1.0-RC2 Reporting that it cant write to stepper_x's Globalregister.

Hello, so I just got done building a v-core 4, however my machine is non standard. I'm running an Octopus Pro 723 v1.1 board, 1 48v poser supply and 1 24v power supply using tmc 5160 pro v 1.1 drivers on the hybrid motion system (voltages altered to the suggested settings in RatOS) and tmc 2209's/24v on the z axis steppers (standard volatage). Whenever I go to home klipper shuts down reporting that it cant write to "stepper_x globalregister". I did some research online and found that this usually means bad hardware. So I swapped the tmc 5160's around a few times - error was always stepper x. Thinking it was a bad board I swapped it for an older octopus pro 446 I had in another printer (known good board) - same issue. I'm starting to think that maybe its software related. I'm currently going to try falling back to 2.1.0-rc1 to see if that makes a difference. Let me know if anyone else is having this issue and/or what files you need form me to assess things....
