Pi has Problems to flash after reinstallation
Hi!
Vcore 4 Stock Setup, was Up and running - Made the mistake to update components without updating ratos First (was shown as faulty and couldnt be recovered, also i got the resonance shaker error w newest Klipper)
So i thought im smart and i'll reflash the Image.
Pi boots Up and gives me 4 Green blinks
So something not workig out.
Normal pi Image flashes with the pi.
Tried also with USB disconnected
Also i copied the .img from the .XZ to my Desktop before flashing since i had faulty images when using balena to direcltly.
Sandisk 32gb Card
How do i recover from here?
Thanks ahead!

Does balena successfully write the image or does it fail the verify?
When i copied the img from XYZ to Desktop it verifys, when flashing from XYZ direclty it fails
sorry, I'm not sure what XYZ is
My Bad, XZ, the archive the image is compressed in
Are you uncompressing the file before flashing?
*.xz
is like *.zip
, you need to uncompress it firstYes thats what i ment!:) i copied the img to my desktop so it should be uncompressed at that point
So you have a *.img file, not a *.xz file, correct?
Yes!
Try an older version of balena. A lot of people have had problems with the latest. Search in here and you'll see what is recommended.
I unfortunately have to leave for now, good luck!
Thanks im also on my way home allready (printer is at my workplace) so no hurry:)
I used Rufus to write the image.
Etcher woudl always error on the verify
Are you using the same card?
If so, did you remove both partitions with disk management?
And use both rufus or rpi imager. Balena has bugs, yet (I hope they correct it)
I used the same Card, yes, cleared all partitions, formatted in fat32 8kb
I'll try another imager
