Pre-processing will cause firmware restart

Standby temperature Idex

New rat rig toolhead with super pinda

Hey guys I just added the rat rig tool head v 1.0. It came with the " super pinda" proximity sensor. In the rat os configurator I select the super pinda and saved and confirmed the config file. However I now have error "Option 'control_pin' in section 'bltouch' must be specified" . Again I'm not using the bl touch anymore. Anyone experience this? Thanks guys

Solution:

If removing those lines doesn't work, try running the configurator with a completely different starting machine, save, then run it again with the correct machine and settings. That should get you started from scratch.

Fan with PWM from filter unit how to hook up and address

I build the BRS CF80 Filtration Unit. Got 2 24V fans with it (4028's). Florent (the designer) advised me to use a MOSFET to power the fans and to use a signal line from the MOSFET to either the Pi (GPIO pin) or the Octopus Pro board to signal the MOSFET to run it. Is the Octopus Pro (which I have) capable of powering 3 40X28 fans, 1 part cooling fan (12V) and 2 coupled 24V fans. Or should I use a MOSFET?

Is it ok to use kiauh to manage extensions/modules that are not already managed by RatOS (klipper-backup, octoeverywhere, etc), or I can still mess up RatOS config?

Solution:

Well, here we have the answer. It's nice it notifies you instead of letting you commit suicide 😂 !!! RatOS 2.1 or greater detected !!!
KIAUH does currently not support RatOS. If you have any questions, please ask for help on the RatRig Community Discord...

Solution:

One is documentation for 2.0 version of Rat-OS and the other is for 2.1 version. So which version of Rat-OS are you using?

MANTA M5P WIFI ADAPTOR NOT WORKING. cM4 NON WIFI

I bought a non wifi cm4 by mistake. thought i could use a usb wifi adaptor to make it work but its not connecting. I also enable usb hub by editing file according the m5p manual. I'm able to get through ethernet and it shows that it does not find any wifi interface. if i can make this work will be great

Missing skew profile

RatOs Configurator repository invalid

I am at a point where I need a little hint to solve my problem. I installed 2.1 rc2 and updated all sections in the update manager where an update was possible directly or with soft recovery. I did no hard recovery yet. The RatOS configurator repository is still invalid. The connection is good. During my first attempt I did a hard recovery what ended up with the 502 bad gateway error. What can I do to get this running? I didn't change the config yet. Only wifi is setup....

Camera stream lost after last Mainsail update

I’ve updated Mainsail today to v2.13.0 and now I can’t reach the cameras set as webrtc. I also have frequent Moonraker disconnection when I’m a page with camera stream. I’m connected with WiFi but the connection is stable....

Adaptive Bed Mesh

I just purchased a Vcore 3.1 on the cheap that was not assembled verdy well. I have been going through the build including the wiring to finally arrive at printing. The Pinda probe seemed inconsistent so I upgraded to a Euclid probe. Homing and z tilt go well but a problem with adaptive bed meshing. With the pinda probe adaptive bed mesh went ok but with the euclid probe once a print was started and z tilt was done, the toolhead would go to the center of the bed and do a probe that seemed to not recognize the probe then move to the purge blob spot but did not lower the bed and proceeded to knock the probe off. Not expected. I have now returned to normal bed mesh ( no adaptive) and that probes with the Euclid probe fine except I originally had an error "horizontal_move_can't be less than probe's z_offset". My online search found a fix by adding [bed_mesh]...
