VC4 making deep gouges in print bed
When my VC4 (With beacon) prints, it makes deep gouges in the bed (Measured in excess of 0.2mm with calipers). When it does a beacon contact probe, it's fine, it makes no marks. When I was printing earlier on the stock RR PEI plate, it was fine. However, since swapping to my BuildTak Nylon+ build plate, I am having this problem. This build plate is much thicker than the stock RR one. However, as far as I was led to believe, beacon contact should detect the difference between what the eddy sensor says, and what the contact says, and adjust accordingly. And no, it's nothing to do with temperatures. I tried printing PLA on this sheet like I do with the stock sheet, and I get the same issue. I did try the Beacon Scan Compensation, but that did not seem to help. All of my beds have about 0.1mm deviation between high and low point, so I don't think it's anything to do with meshes. Can someone please advise as to how to debug what's going on. I am terrified to switch back to my RR build plate in case it damages that so the printer is effectively useless until I can sort this out

Part Cooling fan speed reversed
When I set my part fan to 0%, it spins at 100%, if I set it to 100%, it stops. If I set it to 75%, it spins at 25%. Any idea what the issue is?

Layer shift - stepper skipping suspected
I now suspect that my layer shifting issues are caused by the steppers skipping steps. How I came to this conclusion: Current config: VC4-300 CoreXY, but set up in Hybrid mode. Hybrid belts disconnected, but motors still wired up 1. Using a white marker, I put a mark on the belts right where the grub screws of the CoreXY pulleys were. 2. Ran a print which layer shifted 3. Checked marks on belts - still lined up with grub screws 4. Checked grub screws - still tight and still aligned to flat faces of stepper spindles Can anyone advise - do you think I am drawing the correct conclusions from this test, and do you have any ideas of what I could try? Is running in Hybrid mode like this bad? I tried switching it to CoreXY mode, but it does not appear to be that simple, as the default motor pins for CoreXY are not the same as Hybrid
