VC4 making deep gouges in print bed
When my VC4 (With beacon) prints, it makes deep gouges in the bed (Measured in excess of 0.2mm with calipers).
When it does a beacon contact probe, it's fine, it makes no marks.
When I was printing earlier on the stock RR PEI plate, it was fine.
However, since swapping to my BuildTak Nylon+ build plate, I am having this problem.
This build plate is much thicker than the stock RR one.
However, as far as I was led to believe, beacon contact should detect the difference between what the eddy sensor says, and what the contact says, and adjust accordingly.
And no, it's nothing to do with temperatures. I tried printing PLA on this sheet like I do with the stock sheet, and I get the same issue.
I did try the Beacon Scan Compensation, but that did not seem to help.
All of my beds have about 0.1mm deviation between high and low point, so I don't think it's anything to do with meshes.
Can someone please advise as to how to debug what's going on. I am terrified to switch back to my RR build plate in case it damages that so the printer is effectively useless until I can sort this out

Did some
BEACON_OFFSET_COMPARE
tests
Nylon+ sheet (The problematic one):
Stock RR sheet:
OK that's very odd. For the nylon sheet, Contact is bigger than proximity. It's the other way around for the RR sheet
When I first did BEACON_INITIAL_CALIBRATION
it was with the RR PEI sheet.
I re-did BEACON_INITIAL_CALIBRATION
now with the Nylon sheet, and now I get:
Nylon:
RR PEI:
Now printing OK on the nylon bed. Not tried the PEI sheet yet.
