Losing connection to MCU

Need some guidance please. Equipment: RPi 4 4GB BTT SKR 3 EZ RATOS 2.1 Keep getting (while printing and just idle) the following message: "Lost communication with MCU 'mcu'Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the "FIRMWARE_RESTART" command to reset the firmware, reload the config, and restart the host software. Printer is shutdown" When I press "Firmware Restart", most of the time I will get: "Failed automated reset of MCU 'mcu'Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the "FIRMWARE_RESTART" command to reset the firmware, reload the config, and restart the host software. Error configuring printer" When Clicking "Firmware Restart", sometime I need to do it 2-3 times before restart. But it always comes back without a full power recycle. So never need to restart the MCU, although I have done this many times as well, just incase. What I have replaced: - Moved Rpi onto genuine Raspberry Power Supply - Replaced USB cable - Replaced RPi 4 with brand new RPi 4 (old RPi 4 was the covid model with 4 different power diodes that gave issues and so want to make sure it was not related) Printer can stand idle for hours and all of a sudden it losses connection with MCU, but then it could also happen in matter of seconds after startup. So where to next? Firmware, Software or Hardware?

Re-imaged a new SD card and copied over the printer.cfg "Modifications" that I have added and still same problem. As part of setup wizard I also reflashed the MCU. Strange change (even though we still loosing connection to MCU), both "Part Cooling" & "Toolhead cooling" fans would run 100% full at startup even though the configuration is the same printer.cfg that is on the old SD card. Just copied the two sections into the printer.cfg from the voron-v01.cfg without any changes and both fans were off at startup and work as normal now. [fan] pin: fan_part_cooling_pin shutdown_speed: 1.0 [heater_fan toolhead_cooling_fan] pin: fan_toolhead_cooling_pin fan_speed: 1 heater: extruder heater_temp: 50.0

After clicking "Firmware Restart" a few times, it eventually restarts Tried to move back to RATOS 2.0 and could not get firmware to flash onto the board. Keeps failing. Tried again RATOS 2.0 and this flashes right away.... Can we not just flash with older version of klipper? Or is there really something wrong with this MCU?

Hello. I will check SKR3 settings later today and let you know. What fans are you using?

Just normal 2 pin fans in Voron Mini Afterburner
