Sanity check
Hello. Just a sanity check. The front right (audience side) needs to go up a bit, correct?

Nozzle too low all the time
I have encountered a rather weird problem. The nozzle is ALWAYS too low. I have run several probe calibrations (I have BL touch) and mesh calibrations, both seem fine.
When I run print, the nozzle is 0,7 lower than it should be and when I dont lift it, it scrapes the bed hard.
Any suggestion what to do with this?...
VC500 bowed bed ?
according to the bed mesh some corners are out of square, that is obvious and needs fixing.
but what about the big bow in the center ?
i swapped the linear rails front and back, left to right and still the same.
Thsi is at ambiant temperature...........will it flatten with the bed heated ?...

Mesh for v-core 500
Hi! Finally my V-Core 3 build is starting to be finished. However I cant figure out how to flatten this mesh. Main problem is the dip on the left side. What is causing that?

Before and After
Good example of simple adjustment making a big difference, I kinda threw the frame together with eyeballing the square.
I adjusted the front right by hand no hammer and got it well within what I would accept. 0.2
This Video definitly made the adjustment make sence.

Bed or Gantry bowing
Any idea what might cause the bowing? I've tried loosening and reattaching x-gantry as well as y-rails since there seems to be bowing in both x and y directions.
The curving seems symmetrical and adjusting corners only increases variance.
I thought that maybe the spring steel print surface might be curved, but turning it around gives the same results....

Bed mesh, frame or bed?
Hi,
If anyone is able to come with an idea I feel like I am going crazy, in the last 4 hours I tried to fix it but I can't realise what is wrong. I know about the yt video about square frame but It doesn't say anything about motor side being uneven, in the picture I draw an "M" for each motor.
Please guide me a bit as I feel like it is a dead end....

More Mesh than hardware - Normal overkill?
may move this post ... since it effect mesh mostly I'll post here.....
I can noticeably measure the self sag of my VC500 bedplate. so I've designed a 'truss' with an adjustable center to minimize that sag. Front mount replaces the ball spacer, rear is simply bolted solid. The 'carbon fiber truss can free float (slotted holes) as the bed expands . the center vertical pin supports the sag. should be able to adjust as needed HOT or cold.
what say ye' masses? overkill? comments? flames? all are welcome....
Best practice procedure questions regarding hot & cold mesh profiles for minimizing failures.
Excuse my ignorance but coming from Prusa's this is all new to me and I have a million questions. My primary objective is to minimize the .100-200 microns gantry bow which I believe can knock off objects from the bed after 2-3hrs into a print even with the lid off my 2.0 with PLA temps. I believe this also increases the probability of layer shifts
- Should create and load a "hot" profile when the bed is hot?
- If so, how long do I leave it to soak?...
- If so, how long do I leave it to soak?...
Slanting down on either side, Im at a loss.
Im running a V^300 with an X gantry that is only using the linear rail, Im at a bit of a loss as to what to adjust to bring both sides level.

V-Minion Mesh help
Hey guys! I just went through the usual steps of getting a nice mesh with my new Minion.
As long as it was somehow related to one of the three screws, i was able to dial it slowly in. But now i actually don't know how to improve this anymore 😅
I did put the Gantry in Parallel in the built process, and as far as i can see, that went okay.
I used the RR PEI Sheet for these measurements, but just for a comparison also used a Prusa Mini Satin Sheet - the zero level ofc changes quite a bit, but the basic shape stays the same with both....

Anyone willing to try and tackle this one?

quick question I thought the stock gantry was supposed to bow downwards when hot. this Heightmap suggests otherwise (performed whilst hot) am I missing something. I have already ordered a carbon gantry (I hope that helps?) had quite a few prints already get knocked off the bed so far 😦

Need advise on how to fix this mesh
So I think I am almost there with my mesh. There is this bow upwards in the front. I redid my gantry rail, but I guess that was not the problem. Anyone have any ideas? is it a frame problem?

Bed or frame?
Does this look like a frame or a bed issue? It's a 330x330 5mm aluminium bed with a textured PEI magnetic surface. It looked fairly straight until I had to replace the heater. Measured with a SuperPINDA.

Temperature for mesh and z-offset
Since I still somehow have strange problems with my first layers being off randomly I wanted to ask at what temp the bed and z-offset should be done.
So far I do both at roomtemp which seems wrong, but doing them at higher temps gives me even worse first layers.
I don't do a mesh before each print but manually from time to time since the mesh takes forever at the start of every print....
V-Core 3 Mesh Problem
Hi,
maybe someone here has a tip for me my bed mesh is very crooked i watched the video on youtube which is the best thing to do
for me, point C is way too high, so I pushed point B down as far as I could...

Clarifications about Frame Squaring Video?
I'm looking at squaring up a V-Core 3 400mm frame that is about .65mm out of square, and I'd like to double check a few things about 3d Printers & a Whiteboard's video about squaring (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7ZTq2dDTkM)
It sounds like for just a tilted bed mesh, the A/B points (the X axis in the front) is generally always going to have the actual corners defining one plane (since this is where the two points of the bed triangle are?)
It sounds like corners D and C are hard to adjust, so generally you're just adjusting the Bar [AD] and Bar [BC], except we do it on the A/B ends of the bar due to D and C....
