still cant get first layers to be consistent
i'm at my wits end with this printer. im 10 days in and still dont have a first print done. i've been tryin to get my first layer issues sorted out. multiple beacon calibrations later, i'm still getting inconsistencies and non-sticking portions of prints. it's not the build plate, it's clean. the printer is not putting the plastic down close enough to the bed to smush on the external walls, it's constantly all over the place. it's exceedingly frustrating. this printer was supposed to be u...
Solution:
The only conclusion I came to was "maybe my x-rail was not mounted correctly or something"
Help installing RatOS
When i attempt to flash RatOS onto the SD card, Balena etcher shows the error code attached. Has anyone else run into this? Any suggestions to continue with the install?

Yeah, it's a known thing at least in the discord. Get an older version on Balena, I think 18.0 is good, and that should work
RatOS fails to connect to WiFi on reboot
I’m working on adjusting camera settings and as such need to restart frequently. I’d say 60% of the time my pi won’t connect to WiFi again. It creates the RatOS hotspot and I can connect to it. When I do I check the configuration and see the attached error.
I can keep restarting and eventually it connects but it’s a bit of a hassle. Any ideas?...
Percentage circle has different percentages in Fluidd and on the Klipper Screen.
As you can see here in a longer print, that there is a difference of 7% in the visualization of the current process status.
Do we have an issue here?...
Still having issues with "Probe samples exceed sample_tolerance"
All my belts have good tension according to shaper graphs, and my bed mesh is .116 on my 500. I've also made sure my mag sheet and pei sheet are clean, and the hot end is completely free of filament. I can't tighten my couplers any further. I'm unsure where to go from here.
Am I having issues with missed steps on my Z motors? Often times I will get a poke test where the first and second numbers are very similar on the poke test, or even identical to each other, which seems strange....

i nuked all my cfg files and started from scratch, zero mechanical changes, and now ratos calibrate is workign and im at the contact mesh point, been running for about 18 minutes now

Configuration tool doesn't seem to update stepper motor information in RatOS.cfg
I originally installed RatOS v2.1.0-RC 2 on my VCore 3.1-400 with TMC2209s for my X and Y stepper drivers. Everything worked fine and while troubleshooting something else, I ended up replacing the TMC2209's with TMC2226. I powered the system down, installed the new drivers and then brought up the system and then changed the drivers via the Configurator. When double checking everything, I noticed the RatOS.cfg file didn't update with the new driver configuration. I have restarted the system seve...

There is no
2226 in klipper, as it's basically just a 2209 in a different package 🙂
