my megascans folder isnt showing up on the ai tagging side of things i cant even compute the assets... how do i fix this? also ive been having a few crashes when computing over 100 assets at atime
Object Placement - Move Along Normal
Hi guys, just started the trial of Dash to better understand the tool and see if it fits my needs.
My initial main use for it is the Collection organization and placement of objects quickly and with good controls of the placement before the object is placed, for a better workflow. I have one question about that.
When I'm placing a object, is there a way to move it up and down in the Z Axis (relative to it's pivot point)?...

@anftimatter Hi everyone, I've been playing with 1.7 and created a few items in one of the maps, and then realized that the items created with 1.6 on other maps are not showing up as editable dash tools; So I switched back to 1.6 and now the stuff created in 1.6 is editable again but stuff created with 1.7 is not )
Just a note, would be nice to have everything made with 1.6 editable in 1.7...

Lost terrain tool connection
I made a Terrain (the outer walls) by increasing the curve significantly and made a new terrain for the bottom floor. I came back later after I added materials and hoped to adjust the tiling. But the terrains seems no longer available to fix in the Active Tools bar. Any suggestions to fix? (Or what I did wrong to lose editability). Thanks!

I have a question that Im not sure ifs been asked before...apologies if it has...I'll be working on a project with a team of people through some sort of revision control where I push my work once done....how does dash work in this case...they can view the dash elements like scattering, curves etc I presume and they also cant change anything since they dont have dash installed...but do they remain in procedural format on my end so I can make revisions if I need to?

Dash is built for Unreal Engine mostly right now, and part of the custom integration support includes helping you make it work with engine custom systems (blueprints, C++ mesh data structures, custom instancing, etc...), and everything else from higher priority feature implementation to on-demand demos/visits and whatever you need for Dash to help you get your job done 🙂...

converted my terrain and road to static meshes from procedural...saved everything looked fine but when I reopened editor all was lost? All this at the very end of a project! Was their something that I should be aware off when turning procedural to static?
