Compute/Tag multiple asset folders at once and have it not be limited to only one at a time.
Let's say you got a bunch of assets to tag or compute: You can't just select them all and have them be tagged, because you need to return and select the next one after X amount of time.
How are you supposed to drink your coffee in peace?...
Have uncomputed asset folder names be highlighted in some way
Not that it is a big issue, currently uncomputed asset folders have a (0/amount of assets) as a suffix, though if it was somehow marked in a way with a color for example or whatever, that would quickly let the user know and visually it looks better as well.
You don't need to really focus and check where this suffix is anymore, you just instantly know like that 🫰✨ and then get straight to the computing/tagging....
Recompute a whole asset folder at once
Sometimes the rendered images are wrong or something else went wrong and there is no way to have it all be re-computed. You can only do that by right clicking and then "re-compute" for every individual asset. That's very time consuming. If you could right click on a folder and just have it all re-compute, that would be beyond amazing.
Though the data for the computed assets must be stored somewhere, right? Perhaps I can just delete it and have it recompute again in this way......
Option to disable the warning that tagging will take long.
"Tagging X amount of assets may take a long time, are you sure?"
Yes I am, please don't bother me with the question everytime. Let me disable it 🙂...
"Project below" feature does not move anchor point down as well
Say you got an object in the air and you want it to snap to the ground, it works but the anchor point is still in the original position.
Drag and drop decals are not visible.
I can't see any cracks, leaks or graffiti on my surface. What am I missing out?

Path Scatter tool
Hi! tried to read but can't find this:
I scatter objects with the path scatter tool.
I bake them in static objects as I like where they are
I draw a new curve, path tool is closed, the other curve is gone.
I assign a new object and I scatter it alongside again using a new path scatter tool...

Content Browser improvements
Two things I instantly would love to see changed for the Content Browser:
1. Let the user define their own taxonomy. For example "Monitor" also means "Screen". So if a mesh has the name "Monitor" but the user looks up "Screen", that "monitor" mesh is still showing up.
2. Make the manual tagging window easier to access. Currently you have to right click and then click on "Asset Details" and only then you can manually tag. Why not just directly have the user click on it twice or have the user select it and then press space for example? And then it would open up with the tagging text box already selected so the user can directly begin. Massive time saver ⏱️...
Add a warning to the installer if the python dependency installer at the very end fails
If at the end the python dependency installer should fail for whatever reason (no permissions to install, no internet connection, some other error) then have the installer display the error. I am in the unique situation where it couldn't install anything at the end because I did it offline, and while it displayed the reason for the error, it only lasted for like 10 ms and the window immediately closed down afterwards. I had to record my screen to see what was even happening.
no Proximity Mask 2 or 3
im in the trial period following along with "GETTING STARTED WITH DASH - EASY WORLD BUILDING IN UE5" video and i notice there is no Proximity Mask 2 or 3 in the tools panel. Was it removed, or replaced with something else? im using version 1.8.5.

Limit (Removed)
I been a user since this was released, and one thing that bothers me, is the limit (per month) on assets being added to content browser. I work with many projects, and like to set up favorites, this limit causes me so many headaches. FOR hobbyist or users who don't do alot of work( its not an issue) , as some of us freelances/contractors or very active indies do, this, effects us.. I don't understand why there is such a limit? one thing in development is control, we need it, to be effectiv...
Content Browser in the large project
Hi! I have a large sandbox project (about 1+tb).
And when I try to start to compute the assets (even folder with 3 SM's) - all process is stalling. I've wait about 30min, but it doesnt work. So I have to kill the process. My project is about 100k+ assets. Is there a way to use the assets right from UE content browser?...
Sophon doest work
Hi! I've managed to found the error when trying to execute to Sophon.
So it doesnt start.
I've also faced the problem when Dash doesnt start when clicking on icon, but after 2 reinstals it starts. But sophon doesnt work - Ive also try to reinstall....

Content Library
I love the idea of a universal content library, but sadly I found myself rarely using it because it's too limiting in terms of types of assets which can be added. Instead, I now mainly use UassetBrowser, which is way more convenient for transferring assets from other project. It works with all asset types such as textures, blueprints... and there's no need to compute assets if tagging is not needed. It simply does what it's supposed to do, migrate assets from one project to another with all depe...

Missing submenus in material tool - UE 5.5 Dash 1.8.5
I have two different projects newly created and migrated some levels from older but different UE 5.4 projects. In both 5.5 projects I created a terrain and placed a material on it. In project 1 everything seems good, all submenus are there (see attachment 1) In project 2 were many submenus missing (attachment 2).
The only difference between the two projects: I created project 1 with the "Third person" - Games template and project 2 with the "blank" - Film/Video & Live Events template.
In attachment 3 you found the DashSceneData from both projects....

Unable to Launch Dash 1.8.5
I just activated the perpetual license on a previous version of Dash (possibly 1.8.3) installed last month. After that, I updated to Dash 1.8.5 by overwriting it in the same location. However, after launching UE and clicking the Dash button in the toolbar, nothing happens.
UE output log shows the following error:

"Enable Tile Breakup" Not in 1.8.5 on Ue 5.3
I did an upgrade and was testing tile breakup, and am not seeing the options in the edit material tool.
