Unknown G-Code - Print Aborted

What is required to run PA tests? I have included: ALLOW_UNKNOWN_GCODE_GENERATOR BYPASS_GCODE_PROCESSING| I still get print aborted. I have searched through discussion on this topic, and some posts indicate that this was slated to be changed in some way....

Fan confusion

I have a vcore4-idex and while doing the testing of the hotend i realice that the T0 toolhead fan wasn't working after testing it with an external power source i realice it was unusable (maybe a fabric defect) i replace the fan but when doing the testing of the new fan i realice that when i test the T0 hotend the T0 toolhead fan should turn on but instead the controller fan turns on, and when the controller fan should be turn on (when rpi gets hot for example) the T0 toolhead fan turns instead....

unload macro moving out of range

i discovered something which could be a bug. as far as I know, unload and load macros are supposed to be used while the printer is in idle mode. my intension this time was to change nozzles, so i set the kinematic position so i can move the z axis down. the motors for x and y were not engaged. i have unloaded the filament of T1 with the nozzle tip forming macro was active. the console gave me the following: ```19:11 Move out of range: 557.678 250.000 350.000 [-40.800]...

How to print gcode that is not from a slicer?

Pause print nozzle temp

Is there any way to set the nozzle temp when the print is paused? I had some ABS burn in and clog the nozzle while the print got paused after a tangle detection while I was away for a couple of hours. I guess a temp of 150c would be a bit safer than 260c I presume....

Cancel print with mirror mode not working

Hello, I have a small issue with the mirror mode. First of all, I really don’t get it to work. Secondly, if I want to cancel the print, it’s still printing with a z offset. And then it stops due to a low temp on the extruder. That doesn’t seem to be right to me. Print pausing after tool change (waiting for temperature)

I am able to set a standby temperature in the ratos config of the vcore 4 idex, but is there no way to make the toolhead preheat the nozzle before it needs to be used? I always have to wait 15-30sec before the printer is ready to print again. If I use the "ooze prevention" function in orca slicer the toolhead is correctly preheated, but I still have to wait till the not used toolhead to reach the standby temperature. I imagine it would be a quite easy implementation in ratos to set variable preheat parameter. If anyone got a soluton for that I would be very thankful 🙂...

Unable to read tmc uart 'dual_carriage' register IFCNT

Ive tripple checked wiring, pins, and the uart jumpers, ive reinstalled software, ive put a new Octo board in, new drivers(2209), anytime i try "SET_CENTER_KINEMATIC_POSITION" and move the dual carriage, i get the error everytime, i move bed up and down no issues, but as soon as i touch the heads, it faults and reboots.

TEMPERATURE_WAIT not doing anything

Hello all, I have done a fresh install of Ratos and ran into an issue I hadn't seen before, is there any way of fixing this? for context im using Prusa slicer on a Voron 0 Pandoras Box (hence why its configured as a vcore 3), is there a way of skipping all the pre print stuff, since it seems to just get stuck at that point and not heat up or do anything.

apologies, I had changed something in the prusa slicer pre print gcode and it messed with it, I went back to the ratos recs and it works fine, sorry for wasting time

Automatic unload of Filament after "FIRMWARE_RESTART"

Hey there! Since I use the Orbiter Filament Sensor, everytime the "FIRMWARE_RESTART" is used the Hotend heats up and the Filament gets unloaded. Because the FIRMWARE_RESTART is normal start procedure for me, due to a shelly that seperatly can be triggered to connect and disconnect 230V for heatbed and else, this is very inconvenient. I guess this is not a normal behaviour? How can this be changed? Filament Sensor Code of printer.cfg can be seen in screenshot. ...

Settings migration from 2.02 to 2.1

Hi, is it possible to transfer printer.cfg or at least parts of it from 2.02 to 2.1? Mine printer cfg is pretty long and fune tuned and I would be kinda sad to have to do it again. Same with sensorless homing. Thanks a lot

not sure what you mean by that. I am saying, you need to go to 2.1, use the configurator and generate your setup. Then manually look at your old printer.cfg and move over anything you need to the newly generated config from 2.1

Best way to install Fluidd in RatOS?

A long time ago I used Fluidd on my Ratrig. The feature I liked to best was the realtime printer viewer. I had some bad experiences installing it with KIAUH as the really messed up RatOS and I had to delete everything and start over again. Are there any recommendations on how to install Fluidd without creating problems? Do I just follow the manual install procedures posted on their Github site? Suggestions or Caveats?
