Jos. A Banks Dress Shoes?
Hi All,
I'm standing up in a wedding for my best friend in May, and I'm in the process of getting brown dress shoes to go with my navy wedding suit (Also a new white dress shirt but not relevant here). He and his fiancee are not at all picky about what type of dress shoes- just have them be brown and look nice.
I stopped into my local Jos. A Banks and saw these shoes on clearance and thought this would be a good opportunity to ask for advice before I go back and make a purchase....
Loafers recs
You can tell it’s getting to summer with all these people looking for loafers and now I fancy some too lol.
In terms of style, I’m looking to lean heavily into ivy/new england stuff over this spring/summer and would be looking for a more traditional style. I’d say in terms of colour I’d like a mid-to-dark brown pair, and I’m thinking penny loafers with minimal decoration. I’ve attached some inspo that relates.
I’m open to both new and second hand options with a budget of around £75-£125 (leaning heavy second hand, ideally not too worn in). I take a size 10 (UK) in converse Jack Purcells, US10.5 in thursday captains, US9 bean boots - sizing advice would be appreciated. UK based so UK sellers only please....

Thinking about buying these as a general purpose shoe to go with just about any casual fit, from jeans to casual tailoring. Basically as a loafer substitute. Will they work?

I’m considering this shirt from Daniel Simmons but I do not know much about Italian tencel twill. Is it a comfortable material that falls like silk or is it more a material that holds its shape?

Sneaker recommendations
I am looking for new shoes. All I wear right now are blue/green New Balance steel toe sneakers for work and white/green Stan Smiths outside of work. I have a pair of GH Bass Weejuns that I never wear, as well as a pair of high top converse that I can't figure out what to wear with. I'm open to recommendations on what's hot, what goes well with a minimalist/Uniqlo style wardrobe, etc. of note, I am size 13.5 with very flat feet
