coat length
How long is your coat? When I'm out in public, most coats I see on guys are above the knee. I've never worn a coat, but I just bought 2 and they go below my knees. Will it look out of place?

looking to buy cropped overshirt and car coat after shipping nightmare
I just ordered a relaxed car coat and overshirt from a company called asker. I am in the US and they don't ship here. But they do ship to Canada. I live close enough to the border where I planned to pick it up from my cousin on the other side.
I order it and have it shipped, and to make a long story short I just had to have it sent back because UPS wanted to charge $150 USD in taxes and duties. I've never heard of anything like this.

finding sales and discounts. seems like I always get suckered into paying full price
What's your method or strategy for finding sales and discounts? Multiple people, including my dad, have told me I should never buy clothes at full price. However, many times when I go to buy something it's just not on sale. I don't really know what the best way to track price fluctuations are. I know Amazon can be tracked with a few services, but there are a lot of other sites/brands/stores out there. No telling how many Black Friday deals I missed because I just can't find them all.
