Sneaker recommendations
I am looking for new shoes. All I wear right now are blue/green New Balance steel toe sneakers for work and white/green Stan Smiths outside of work. I have a pair of GH Bass Weejuns that I never wear, as well as a pair of high top converse that I can't figure out what to wear with. I'm open to recommendations on what's hot, what goes well with a minimalist/Uniqlo style wardrobe, etc. of note, I am size 13.5 with very flat feet

i mean bass weejuns, stan smiths and converse hi tops all typically go with the uniqlo/basic bastard core imo
what issues do you have with your current rotation (sizing, comfort, durability, style)?
what's your budget/location?
I feel like classic converse go with anything tbh (not literally but if we’re talking minimal style for sure)
It's definitely a style thing I think, I can't figure out what other shoes to add in. I am in Upstate NY and could spend $150+, but keeping it around $100 would be ideal
They should but I hardly see anyone wearing them anymore in person
Also as far as how outfits fit me, this is what it looks like when you have long arms and a short torso

that question coupd have many answers; it's worth checking in places like #waywt or #inspiration or elsewhere online for pictures of shoes or outfits that you like and see if there's any commonalities
i think its more effective to focus on what you like (or find out what you like) first then narrow that down based on size/budget
I wear my chuck 70s weekly lmao, they look better the more beat up they are
You can also store them in the sun so they get sun bleached over time, which helps with the worn in look
new balance 574. super comfy, and cheap
I've actually had those in the past I think
I have an issue where most shoes I get look like boats
Or clown shoes
that might be caused by the pants you wear with them
overly slim fit pants may not look as good with a wider shoe like a 574 (or shoes like reebok club c 85s, or salomon xt-6s)
Yeah I've started to realize that
