Baggy top/slim pants, slim top/baggy pants, or both?

What makes sense?

As in, crewneck sweatshirt and regular fit pants

It’s not that simple Both can look good Both can look bad Although I think a slim fit crewneck sweatshirt sounds bad in concept Regular ass crewneck sweatshirt and straight fit pants is a good place to start

true I want to wear wider pants as I think with my size 14 shoes, it makes it look like I'm wearing clown shoes

as a fellow big foot haver, relaxed/bootcut/flares are a lifesaver

A lot depends on your body type. Baggy top half and slimmer bottom half works best for me. Unlike you I have pretty small feet.

Body type isn’t really important

Personally, I think it is. I’ve always thought that some people look far better in baggy trousers than skinny ones. Usually because of thickness or length of their legs.

no sorry, body type isn't really important garment fit and proportions do matter tho

I guess I’ll chalk this up as one of my unpopular opinions! I just think whether somebody is short, tall, skinny, overweight etc has a bearing on what will look good on them.

it's not unpopular it's wrong and harmful, please reconsider

Ah sorry, I now understand what you mean!
