Business-Casual for SWE in Finance (London)
How is this outfit for a software engineer in finance in London? I would probably switch out the t-shirt for a different colour (navy / grey / white), but this is what I'm thinking of wearing.

I currently wear a formal shirt with suit trousers and Oxford shoes, but I'm definitely one of the more formally dressed people on my floor and I want to make a switch to something more business-casual that's more comfortable and lower maintenance. I bought these chinos recently and I'm not sure whether the Stan Smiths look weird with them.

Taupe or Beige Chinos
I'm looking to get my first couple pairs of chinos, and I've already decided on navy for one of them. What would be more versatile out of the taupe and beige chinos here? I'm looking to wear them casually as an alternative to my current navy jeans that I wear out all the time.
