Blazer fit check part 2
Is this blazer too big for me? (Besides sleeve length)
Or is this how it should fit. I'm new to blazers so I'm trying to make sure I have the right size.
The following is a size 42, unstructured cotton/linen jacket.

Gonna tag @beans (pinto) since you saw the post from yesterday, I would love to get your thoughts.
Thank you again for your feedback yesterday as well, it was very appreciated
So much better! The sleeves are a bit long and the jacket overall might be a touch long but the rest fits great.
Would have to see a full body pic with shoes to determine if it’s too long
I did add these, BUT the tripod still set up! I can take more full body if needed with a heeled shoe instead of drivers

I'll do that real quick actually

So it does look long to me by a little bit. Ideally the ratio between those two is about 1:1 and it looks like the green is a bit short. But it could be the angle?
definitely could be the angle, but part of the reason I thought the jacket seemed large on me was the length. I'll try again with a better shoe
Tried again

Curious though, in the event that it IS too long, is there anything I can really do? Or is it a case of "return it find another brand to buy blazers from"
oh or, I'm being silly, and I should wear a 42S nm 42S is a full 1.5 in shorter, and a full 1 in shorter than the 40
i think the length and cut is fine, but it looks a little big in the hips? if that makes sense?
interesting.
Maybe the move here is the 42 slim then
this is the 42 contemporary
Respectfully disagree about this looking big in the hips.
Second shot looks better to my eyes, but beans is the resident suit check expert so id hang my hat on whatever he says tbqh.
Thank you to the three of you on input! very appreciated!
Honestly this looks incredible for off the rack. It’s a touch long but I prefer a slightly longer jacket to one that’s too short personally

Those bits are really all I see and I know folks that live with that or even get that extra space on bespoke jackets bc it’s more comfortable
Thanks a ton for the feedback @beans (pinto)! Definitely will at the very least get the sleeves taken up. But otherwise feeling much better about going with the 42
thank you!
