Black loafers and overshirt recs
Hello again,
I have two clothing recommendations I’m looking for.
1.
I’m looking to pickup a pair of entry loafers, but I’m pretty specific on what I want so I’m having some trouble finding one.
Budget is $300 or below.
I’m only looking for a black loafer that is sleek and pointier rather than chunky, no tassels or brogue, no rubber sole, and the sole is smooth.
It also needs to have a silver clasp as I only wear silver/black jewelry and a gold clasp isn’t my style.
Here are a few examples of what I liked, except for the price:
Dior loafer: https://www.dior.com/en_us/fashion/products/3LO144ZJQ_H900
Ferragamo loafer: https://www.bloomingdales.com/shop/product/ferragamo-mens-deal-gancio-patent-leather-loafers?ID=4826540
Honorable Gucci loafer mention: https://www.bloomingdales.com/shop/product/gucci-mens-leather-jordaan-loafer?ID=4854396
The Gucci loafer’s silhouette is the best and exactly what I want but the clasp is gold so it’s a miss for me.
If I like how they look then I’m willing to splurge later but for now I’m just trying it out.
2.
What are some good places to find overshirts? Specifically flannel overshirts I could just throw over a hoodie? Not sure if that’s an overshirt or just an oversized flannel but I like the casual look. Right now I’m looking at Portuguese flannel but open to other recs.
Budget is $250 or below.
Thank you in advance 🙏

Black sweaters/jumper
Hello,
I’m looking for a nice thicker/cold weather plain black sweater I can wear next to some grey plaid pants and black loafers for a more dressed up look for date nights with the gf.
Location is USA
Budget $300 or less
I’m 6’6” so XL is my usual size.
Notes: No cable knit, V-neck, or turtle necks.
I checked out brands like Ralph Lauren, sunspel, FRAME, corridor, cos, stone island, slowear, and N.peal
Thank you friends!

slim/straight cut cream and stone grey pants/chinos?
Hi,
I’m on the hunt for two pairs of pants for the upcoming fall/winter.
A cream colored pair and a stone grey colored pair of chinos in a slim or straight cut. I’m not a big fan of the wide legs quite as much.
The reason I’m having trouble is I’m a 33 or 34W and a 36L. Most brands don’t carry up to a 36L so I’m looking to see if anyone else knows a brand I might’ve missed.
Budget: $200/pair
A place I look to a lot is bonobos but wondering if there’s anything else out there. Thank you!

Is Wooyoungmi a solid brand?
I’m not a super fashion forward guy (sorry) but my gf said I dress like a finance bro/my father is a lawyer type and I’d like to branch out lol. I came across wooyoungmi recently and like some of their stuff (especially the flower back print shirts they have), but don’t know much about them. Thoughts/similar recs?
I’d like to branch out a little in more of a street/oversized look, and thought this seems decent (but pricy). She’s also taking me to Korea end of April and I figured why not buy some KR brands if I’ll be there anyway, although I don’t know if WYM is a recognizable KR brand there anyway.
Just to be precise, I’m comfortable wearing oversized tops but I’m not there yet for bottoms. I like my slim fit pants still 😅

Black Suit in the $1250 range or below?
Hello,
I have a wedding that was sprung on me and it's December 1st. My budget is arond $1250 or below, just need a black suit that can be tailored quickly and ready by the day before. Is something like Suit Supply still worth looking into? They have a store near me that I can go to, but if their quality has fallen then I'm willing to look elsewhere. Just looking for a recommendation on where to look. In the DC/nova area if anyone has any local recommendations.
Thank you in advance 🙂
