Black loafers and overshirt recs
Hello again,
I have two clothing recommendations I’m looking for.
1.
I’m looking to pickup a pair of entry loafers, but I’m pretty specific on what I want so I’m having some trouble finding one.
Budget is $300 or below.
I’m only looking for a black loafer that is sleek and pointier rather than chunky, no tassels or brogue, no rubber sole, and the sole is smooth.
It also needs to have a silver clasp as I only wear silver/black jewelry and a gold clasp isn’t my style.
Here are a few examples of what I liked, except for the price:
Dior loafer: https://www.dior.com/en_us/fashion/products/3LO144ZJQ_H900
Ferragamo loafer: https://www.bloomingdales.com/shop/product/ferragamo-mens-deal-gancio-patent-leather-loafers?ID=4826540
Honorable Gucci loafer mention: https://www.bloomingdales.com/shop/product/gucci-mens-leather-jordaan-loafer?ID=4854396
The Gucci loafer’s silhouette is the best and exactly what I want but the clasp is gold so it’s a miss for me.
If I like how they look then I’m willing to splurge later but for now I’m just trying it out.
2.
What are some good places to find overshirts? Specifically flannel overshirts I could just throw over a hoodie? Not sure if that’s an overshirt or just an oversized flannel but I like the casual look. Right now I’m looking at Portuguese flannel but open to other recs.
Budget is $250 or below.
Thank you in advance 🙏

i would consider a penny loafer or a belgian over bit for your first loafer
amongst other things you wouldn't have to worry about the metals possibly not matching
at retail pricing meermin and allen edmonds shoe bank will have options under budget
brands like morjas, allen edmonds (normal), velasca, and alden may have special pricing for cyber monday and/or are under 300 secondhand
I did try checking both before I’d posted here but couldn’t find one with my specifics unfortunately 😔
I will check out the others you listed though, thank you very much
