Thoughts on length? Other fit? In general good/bad?

Suit jacket fit - too long?

Hey, I wanted to get some opinions on how this linen jacket fits. Obviously the sleeves are too long, but that can be altered. I think the length could also be shorter, but it looks ok to me. Jacket length is much harder to alter afaik. GF said it’s too long and I should return it. What do you guys think? I also think maybe the waist can be taken in a bit, but not sure. Thanks!...

Cost of quality

Hey I was wondering while browsing some of the posts of this discord if there really was a noticeable difference in quality between pieces of clothing separated by a lot of money. Does a 1100$ shirt feels 11 times as comfortable as a 100$ one ? I feel like you're only buying the brand, but seeing how Uniqlo gets clowned on and everyone swears on Lemaire I feel there has to be something.

Barely notable sneakers

I'm in the market for some new sneakers this spring... Looking for something with a little visual interest, but not too crazy. You all know how I choose to dress... Added couple pics of some options i've been kicking around...

Dress Shoe Sizing

Buying my first pair of dress shoes so I went to a Nordstrom to use a Brannock device and find my shoe size. The device said 9.5 so I tried on a derby 9.5 in their house brand. If I was purchasing say Alden used or Allen Edmonds used would I also go 9.5? I would probably be looking at a derby as opposed to an Oxford. Also, when matching color to my belt, do I just use my best guess if I can’t view both leathers in store?...

How do I wear this tie casually?

I love wearing ties, but I dont do it nearly enough. I have a solidly sized tie collection and a good oppertunity to start. This wednesday I have a reading/lecture/workshop about space and the galaxy. There will be about 15-25 people there, I know exactly 1 guy. Dress is pretty casual, mostly jeans. I find it hard to match ties with jeans, I know a 4 hand but that's not even close to a good start. I have plenty of button down shirts in plenty of colours, but the rest of the outfit is still a mys...

Suit help

I need a black suit that can be worn to BOTH a black tie event and a funeral I plan to pair it with this watch and prefer a slim fit suit I hope for a twill suit if possible (I have no idea what I’m doing and the only suit I’ve ever owned is a navy blue river island suit for my prom a few years ago) I could show a photo of me in that suit but not sure how helpful that would be for you lot...

First/second pair of shoes

Hi Ive only ever bought sandals (like birkenstocks), runners or joggers (idk what y'all call them), and basketball shoe to play in. Also I'm new to actually buying clothes that aren't for sport. So I was wondering what are a good pair or two pairs of shoes to get started with? Ik that is very generic but I'm not entirely sure what my own style is yet. But I like being minimal, so not techwear or super streetwear-y style....

Slate blue / Bleu horizon in outerwear

How do you all feel about slate blue or the french WW1 bleu horizon or similar summery grey-blues in outerwear? Intuitively it feels like navy, bleu-de-travail, or greys would be more standard and easier to work with.

Recreate this outfit from TOGETHER trailer

Maybe a pretty basic fit, but it looks nice! I'm not worried about the beanie or white t-shirt. Looking for recommendations for: 1) a mid-to-dark blue but not perhaps not navy jacket (appears to be a harrington?) 2) olive fatigues that aren't too baggy, probably just straight-leg ...

vest styling

I found this funky sweater vest at Goodwill today, however, after putting it on at home, I realized it was extremely long and the V cut is very deep. I don’t really have much experience with sweater vest and would like help from the experts.

Help Me

Please help me. I’m so lost on what my style is, what I want it to be, and best way to achieve it. I really really like a lot of the looks on Drakes (London) Diary on instagram but with spring and summer coming up, I don’t see how they are viable to wear (lots of layering with coats). And it’s all very expensive and unjustifiable for me. I have a lot of basic colored clothing so I have a decent base, some stuff should be sent for alterations (pants). I guess I’m looking for some spring/summer in...

I asked yesterday if anyone could ID this shirt, here’s a few more pictures with a clearer logo.

Yall thought it was wrangler but I own a ton of wrangler button downs and don’t recognize the logo on the pocket. The google app show products from Lee and Justin but I dont think that’s right either.

Boxy Mock Neck Longsleeves

I’ve recently seen the mock neck below and have been trying to find something similar. The creator mentioned it was a vintage piece that isn’t being made anymore, so I was wondering if there was something similar currently being made in black or grey. Looking specifically for a a looser fit all around including in the neck. Thank you all in advance for your help!

Looking for quality relaxed sweater..

Hey guys.. I've had those fantastic sweaters from Muji on sale, but then I realized why they were this cheap ($21 on sale).. A couple of washes in, and they already look old and piling.. I technically can't wear them beyond one winter, but the fit is amazing, and I'm trying to find a quality alternative that is not $200.. Happy to hear your suggestions! Anyone tried the Everlane versions?

Jeans recommendations

I went to Uniqlo yesterday to look at some jeans. These had a cool silhouette to them, but the break was too short for my 32x34" legs. Who else makes jeans (trying to avoid Levi's which I buy all the time) that fit like this in my size? Carhart? https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/products/E463970-000/00?srsltid=AfmBOoocQy6WbUZyigvhqEuAwfOpA7aObFANriQ5AB_D4N2movwcxOH9...
