Joes jeans from thrift store

So I got these at Savers and can’t tell if they’re fake or not. Classy shoes for summer 2025.

Hey friends, my birthday is coming up and wanna find something that is classy and will last a couple of seasons. Already got a couple of good loafers, so maybe recommendations to canvas sneakers, sailorshoes or other summer style shoes.

Help finding similar sweater

I have this sweater I really like that I bought on Vinted by the brand Sandro. I like that it's cropped but loose and has a drop shoulder. It's also heavy which I think helps it drape better. Most importantly, it doesn't cinch at the waist....

Chicago Area Tux Rentals

Hi all, Seeking advice as I look for a tux rental in the Chicago area for an upcoming wedding. Details as follows: Black tie dress code, I’m a groomsman and the ask was for a classic black tux with satin lapels. No stated preference for fit, although I’d aim for something traditional vs slimmer modern suits. I’ll need the tux jacket/pants, a white shirt, and patent leather shoes or similar, but accessories (bow tie, cuff links, shirt studs etc) will be provided. I’ve had some ebay searches open to potentially purchase secondhand but no luck so far, and with the wedding approaching (second week of June) I figure I should get rolling with a rental, as I don’t expect to need black tie attire often. Budget wise I am flexible and also uncertain on costing of rentals vs purchasing, would like to keep it under $3-400 or so. ...

I don’t know what “designer” means. Help?

If I ask a lay person they would probably say “Gucci” or “Louis Vuitton”. Google says it refers to the actual fashion designers of established fashion houses like Heidi Slimane, Demna Gvasalia, Yohji Yamamoto, etc. Other people seem to use the term exclusively for luxury brands (Hermés, LP, Zegna, BC etc.). Especially when they make handbags. So when people say “designer” is it only high fashion/haute couture? Todd Snyder is a brand named after a fashion designer, is that considered designer? Is Freenote Cloth designer since they have a team of designers? What about Levi’s, which is an established brand that has had a large impact on fashion?...

Looking for a Suit Brand That Has A Modern Look, Trousers Loose Through the Hip, and on Ebay

I like the colors and sharp look of modern suits but places like Suit Supply really focus on slimmer cuts which aren't flattering on me. Wider or athletic cut trousers look much better on me. My main search has been through ebay or poshmark but if the brand has sales bringing the price to around 500 dollars, that would also work for me. So far I really like Samuelsohn but their prices are a tad high....

little bag recs

I'm have started to not want to have everything i own in my pockets at all times so i have been wanting a little bag for keys wallet and such, I have a lemaire game bag and some totes but they feel a bit too idk not dressy enough, i want something leather. The attached margiela bags have been brainworming me a bit but I want to see what other fun options are out there.
probably a bit bigger than the 3rd one i dont want super super small....

Really specific bag request

What’s up I’m lookin for a sling bag (or messenger, or fanny pack that can be worn as a sling). Minimum size 10” X 6 or 7” and maximum size 14” X like, 10” let’s say. Slim. Structured. Multiple pockets. Sturdy, needs to hold a couple pounds without deforming. This can be mitigated if it has space for a rigid interior panel. Quickly detachable strap is a bonus but not required. One of the INTERIOR pockets needs to have velcro available to attach stuff to. If it looks tacticool, it’s out. No camo, no excessive straps or molle paneling. No military colors (FDE, Coyote, Sage, etc)...

Collar size leniency

I typically wear a 15.5” collar which fits snug - slightly on the tighter end. Found a very very very nice linen shirt but the collar is 16.5”. In THIS context is an inch a lot?

How to wear this shirt (again)?

Another shirt I've had hanging around for a while but not really worked out what to do with. This is a short-sleeved camp collar crocheted shirt. Can't work out if it should be tucked, untucked, or open? Or do they all work ok with this style of shirt? Also am I thinking along the right lines with the trousers? Any alternative suggestions?...
