weird pattern for snow and ice

Is there any way to mitigate this or does anybody know what causes this, I thought it had something to do with a biome mod, but this is just a normal vanilla snowy plains biome, when I get closer to the biome it fixes it even if I fly back out of the vanilla render distance. I am playing in Singleplayer. I have a bit of a long mod list and I can go through and disable stuff to try and figure out what is causing it, but I just thought someone might already know what is happening.

DH Chunks Are Barely Loading (I Swear It's Not Cause Of My RAM This Time) (Single Player)

Some small areas will load, and others won't, it's seemingly random where they choose to generate and where they don't choose too. And the loading is either just not working properly, or is just extremely slow. On the same world about a week ago, I was using shaders along with DH and the chunks were loading at a decent rate, pretty quickly. But now, not even using shaders anymore, it just seems so slow that I have to be doing something wrong. And when I even slightly start to walk away from loaded DH chunks, they de-load. To even get any chunks loaded in the first place, I pretty much have to walk over to them, standing still barely does anything. And yes, distant gen is enabled, as well as rendering, by the way. I've already tried raising my CPU load to balanced, quality up and down, and DGM to be more than just surface, nothing worked. The only mods I got that mess with world gen is terralith and tectonic...

Screen goes white while in the nether.

The screen keeps going pitch white at times in the nether. This only happens in the nether, while the Twilight forest, the Overworld, and other dimensions do not have this issue. The issue goes away when we remove DH from the Forge 1.16.5 modpack, but since DH is our favorite mod in the pack we want to find a fix for the issue. I have linked the mod list in the form of a file to be imported by the Curse Forge Launcher. I am not getting any specific error messages or logs in chat, and I don't kno...

Distant Generation doesn't seem to be working

I'm not sure if it really is working but I stand still no distant chunks start generating. I look at the DH data file it doesn't get any bigger when I'm standing still

why does my game not render past a certain point

My game isn’t rendering Lod’s past a certain point, even if I put the chunk render radius up.

Can the LODs from two maps be combined?

Strange question, I know. I'm working on a map and I'm considering making an optional expansion for it which can be played as a standalone map - all one has to do is combine the region files into the main map. Can this also be done with the LODs from the expansion map? Take them and combine them with the LODs of the main map? Ideally people who download my maps never have to do any LOD building themselves which is fine for each map....

Open the DB in a viewer or in code Select the LODs you want from 1 DB Insert them into the other...

Weird gap between me and LODs only when on server

I've got a server I'm running locally to test stuff before setting up a proper one for friends, which is an exact 1 to 1 of my singleplayer world where I used Chunky to generate a 10k block radius (I copied the files directly across). Issue with custom grass_block model provided by rp

Hello, I use a custom grass_block model which uses an overlay for the top part also(same as the side) in which the grass_block_top texture is the dirt, and grass_block_top texture is the actual grass, the issue is in distance distant horizon seems to be rendering the blocks in far distance as dirt like it’s using the default grass_block model and is ignoring the model provided by the resource pack, I’m not sure if this is true. If somebody could confirm this that would be of great help, and would it be possible to have an option to make it so distant horizon can use the model provided by the rp?...

Problem with create, VS and distant horizons at 1.20.1

Someone has probably asked about that already, and i did find iris and sodium for 1.20.1 forge, but they don't seem to with with create, and from what i know, on 1.20.1 distant horizons doesn't work with embeddium and oculus. So i was curious if there is a way to run Distant Horizons, Create and Valkyrien skies together on 1.20.1 forge/neoforge? Thanks in advance
