CPU usage dropping?

Im using the latest nightly build, I have a seed rendering in singleplayer to export for a server later. When I start distant generation it works with my CPU at 100% usage, but after about an hour or so it drops down to 10% and the ingame time grows exponentially

Yeah I’m running the latest version, I’m about 15 minutes in and the time is already started to go up again and cpu usage is drops to -80% when I’m on preset 5 I paid for the whole cpu

i noticed that its no longer writing to the -wal file while in game and now writing directly into the main one. is it still being compressed the same amount?

Cool, one more quick question, distant generation actually generates the chunks right? If I load the map into a web viewer that shows rendered chunks, will it all be there?

no, DH generates the chunks, converts it to an LOD, then throws away the real chunk

Unless you switch Distant Generation mode to Internal Server Then vanilla chunks are saved and LODs get 100% accuracy as the result

Why not? btw just checked my pc, the distant generation is working great, I love this mod and never want to play without it, thanks for all the hard work yall put into it!
