LODs disappear in the singleplayer worlds generated by Arnis

All of pre-generated LODs outside my render distance are rendered correctly, but once I've been there and then left, most of them are replaced with air. I only noticed this problem with flat worlds. DH works fine with the default type worlds. Try disabling cave culling though I doubt it will help

after i turned this off, at first it seemed to get a little better, but still most of the LODs just disappear. the 2nd screenshot shows what happens if I re-enter the world.
