How do i stop this from popping up
This pops up every minute ever since I recently installed wwoo with RTF
DH github says 2.2.0 is compatible with iris 1.7.0 and above. I am using 1.7.3 of iris and broken.
1.21.1 Quilt
Distant Horizons breaks version 1.7.4 or any earlier version of iris, but an incompatible version is present: 1.7.3+mc1.21...
Beacon does not render in MP
My becaon renders up close, and when super far away with LODs. but if i go only a little bit out of render distance, there is a gap of maybe 10 chunks where theres no beam rendered. i tried disabling culling and remaking beacon in different places. no matter what i do i can't eliminate the gap
Photon Shader Issue
This circle pops up based on distance(as seen in the video). Render distance helps with hiding it but I have my render distance set to two in the video to show the issue a bit better. Any ideas on a solution or a way to hide it better?
Getting error message
Can anyone help I keep getting this error message idk what it means it says something like this: “distant horizons overloaded to many chunks queued…etc” I just started a new world it’s pre generated and none of the chunks are loading in except for the ones I actually go towards to load
having a hard time optimizing mod for my hardware
Forgive my lack of knowledge (and yapping), some of these may be stupid questions. I thinkk that I am cpu bottlenecked on my system. By far the greatest performance benefit comes from reducing the LOD drop off distance. But, in the explanation for this setting, it says that increasing this setting should only increase gpu and memory usage, not cpu usage. My best guess is that updating LOD chunks is more cpu intensive when they’re of a higher quality. But this doesn’t really make sense as FPS st...
is there a way to set custom LOD drop off distances?
I’d love one somewhere in between high and extreme
Can I run It With my Specs?
Would I be able to run good shaders and/or distant horizons with these specs: Intel i3 12100f, Rx 6500 Xt, and 16 Gb of ddr4 ram.
Bug that I'm not sure how to fix
I'm pretty sure this is caused by DH because when I remove it, these don't appear. These show up somewhat often, a couple of these chunks visible within my 10 chunk render distance from anywhere I go.
I can't see the extra chunks that dh add in settings
The chunks aren't added but i can see the clouds all the way.
I've tried everything in the porblems and fixes and nothing has worked, anybody know a fix?...
Solution:
World generation in general is quite slow, if you want to speed it up:
Install Noisium and Faster Random, these mods can improve generation speed by a couple percent.
Make sure to remove the C2ME mod as it significantly slows down DH chunk generation by up to 35%.
Increase
CPU Load
in Distant Horizons settings for faster generation, but you will experience more lag spikes and stuttering due to heavier workload on CPU.
...DH cannot get block state
Getting error that DH cannot get block state and its making my frames dip. has been working fine on 250 render distance with shaders until now
[09:36:30] [DH-File Handler Thread[1]/WARN]:
Unable to find BlockState for Block [minecraft:azure_bluet] with properties: []. Using the default block state.

Solution:
It was I was just able to fix it. It was a mod called better wilds that while trying to get the lod was making my game freeze after removing it it worked great
1 out of 4 dimensions conflicts with Overworld
Hello,
After much FAQ reading, and config tweaking, I'm out of ideas of what to try.
I'm using DH on a server world that adds a few dimensions via a datapack.
It's called New In Town: Dimensions, and it adds four dimensions.
ONE of those dimensions keeps overwriting the same file as the Overworld....
what distant horizons version to use with shaders?
title. i tried the latest but it said it wasnt compatible with iris
Fake lods?
In singeplayer everythings fine, but when I join my server, fake chunks keep showing. When I get close to them, they dissapear, but when I get far enough away they come back?
How to properly regenerate LOD data
trying to completely reset the LOD stuff generated because I'm seeing a lot of wrong/really outdated chunks on an SMP world. I deleted everything in the "distant_horizons_server_data" folder but it's still showing me incorrect terrain until I get up close to the terrain in question. Using 2.2.1-a, and I went around and manually explored the entire map.
