How to properly regenerate LOD data

trying to completely reset the LOD stuff generated because I'm seeing a lot of wrong/really outdated chunks on an SMP world. I deleted everything in the "distant_horizons_server_data" folder but it's still showing me incorrect terrain until I get up close to the terrain in question. Using 2.2.1-a, and I went around and manually explored the entire map.

Blacks lines and random black chunks

I generated a world with chunky and reterraforged in 1.20.1 and open it in 1.20.6 with distant horizon and other mods. There is black lines and black chunk can you help me fix this pls?...

Weird artifacts in DH render zone

Hi, I wanted to create my own modpack for personal use. The mods I use are appended in the text file. I removed all 'performance' mods except Sodium and Indium and ModernFix (which shouldn't do something with the rendering if I read the docs correctly). I have 24GBs left for the client, running on amd ryzen 5950x and 3090rtx. I tried both the bliss shader (built from main branch (the dev branch)) and complementary shaders (both of which should be valid for DH). Both resulted in these weird artifacts that are shown in the upper right corner. (The trees after the vanilla render distance look like full blocks (pink and green), and it really kills the DH effect). I even tried it without any shaders and it still behaves in this blocky manner. I'm not sure what I am missing but hopefully I added enough information. Thanks in advance...

does anyone know why i only get 40 fps while playing better mc on curse forge with DH on?

whenever i try to have a nice experience on better mc on curse forge, i can only get 40 fps even with only 100 chunks being loaded. i have an rtx 4070 with an i7-13700h. i should have more than enough performance to be able to run it at higher frames.

how do i make them not look so large and ugly next to other chunks

it looks like giant clumps of similarly coloured pixels and not actual chunks

Updated to 2.2, now getting error

Updated from 2.1.2a to most recent 2.2 now that Oculus updated. Chat is now spammed with this error message along with frequent crashes. Didn’t have this error before with the older version.

DH not loading LOD chunks?

I installed DH 2.2.1 and IRIS 1.7.5 for mc vers 1.20.1, on a single player instance, shaders work as in they load up and there isn't any error msgs, but the LOD chunks do not load and i'm no expert on fixing these things, any help?

Playing with low render distance (6) results in see through caves. Is there a solution to this besides increasing my render distance?

Extreme CPU heat being generated

Whenever I turn my CPU load in the settings menu to be above "Minimal Impact", including even something like "Low Impact", my CPU's temperature spikes up from the mid 40s/low 50s (Celsius) to high 80s/low 90s within seconds, while only reaching the mid 40s of percentage in CPU usage. The thing is though, whenever I boot up a game which takes about the same CPU load, like Helldivers II, my temperatures stick around the mid 50s. The decent temperatures apply to what seems like everything, including scores from 3dMark's Time Spy benchmark, where my CPU temperature would hardly reach over the mid 70s in temperature. The reason I even want to turn the CPU load above minimal impact is to make LODs generate quicker/at all, and eliminate the "Distant Horizons overloaded" message. ...

Ignore it or update DH to nightly

added the mod to my server but all the unrendered chunks are all pixelated

idk how to make the mod look good ive gone through just about every setting im using the latest version off of curse fordge and it just looks bad no matter what settings i change

Holes in Generation

DH is leaving pockets of emptiness in its LODs. Does it not prioritize the closest LODs? Also my CPU usage is at 100%. DH is on minimal impact and low quality settings. I have a Ryzen 9 79003DX... This is not normal....
